The real problem here is invisible enemies. Give their algorithms time to match servers properly.

Huh. I’ve never had this happen to me. Whenever I get kicked out of WvW for an imminent patch, sure not everyone shows up, but the 50-100 that are closest to me do. I’ve never had problems aiming ballistas, and only very rarely problems on the extreme edge of cannon range (on the eastern keep in borderlands maps). Trebs are another issue, but I can understand not being able to see the health of a wall 10k units away. That’s what spotters are for.

I’m running a GTX470, 8gb of ram, and a SATA3 SSD though. Have a feeling HDD seek times might have something to do with this.

Is this in FABL? I’d go out there and report them all if I were at home.

FA’s just getting a lot of dirt right now because we’re the most populated of our matchup. Next round we’re probably going to be eating it in third place again, but at least it’ll likely be closer.

Downed state for Asura Thieves.

This. It was just fine before that downed camera update. Now I just spin the camera down and hope I’m pointing in the direction of my allies instead of my enemies.

Camera-related Issue Mega-thread

  • Make the downed-state camera not reset back to an overhead-center position after ~5 seconds of no camera movement
  • Add an option to ‘lock’ the camera to the mouse (like it is when the RMB is held down) at all times and have a modifier key (like shift) bring up the free-moving cursor in-order to interact with the game world.

These are the two biggest problems for me. I just swapped the key mappings of A with Q and D with E, and am holding down the right mouse button 90% of the time when playing- I’m only not when in conversation or browsing the trading post.

Another camera annoyance is since a midnight patch several nights ago, the downed camera is forced to zoom in on you so closely that I can no longer zoom out far enough to see what’s going on. It’s virtually impossible to use my Asura thief’s Shadow Escape skill to teleport in any direction except ahead. Struggling with the camera is not something that you have time to do when you’re struggling to survive.
