P.S it’s been almost a year and half and they’ve barely touched balancing, games like WoW are still balancing specs every single patch even to just tweak a number here and there. Anet knows the specs are op over the base classes, and they’ve left it like that to sell the expansion, pure and simple.

Not only they’re been focusing to the next expansion, but also PvP has been more focused to balance patches, because it’s easier to do that.

Let’s face it, WvW has become more chaos because of people’s nasty behavior and OP builds that will ruins any normal players and even mocking them. Any classes/gears update that is intetended to use for PvE mode will also impact to WvW.

Sooner or later, people will eventually get bored of meta game and will rather to play other mode (or game) than the clusterkitten battlefield that is called EB.

That, my friend, is how WvW will ends.

Another bost which can easily be replied with: Matchmaking is still flawed.
Sounds rude, but it’s exactly that easy.

Please fix this bug soon as possible! This is a really crucial, especially when we want to start HoT Story Mode!

Current states of WvW is what it is: Quantity over Quality.

My apology for bad english, but my burden wants me to answers those questions. I hope you’ll understand what is like to be on a low tier server.

1) What do you like best about WvW? What keeps making you come back for more? What keeps you interested or keeps it fun?

I started playing WvW more before WvW Tournament Season 2 was about to start. I’ve learned many things from experienced WvW players with a good community. I felt glory on being part of huge group to fight against other players all night. Sometimes we lost, sometimes we won. Overall: We’ve fought hard work to reach top 3 place and that was a greatest moment that I have ever been on a MMO game.

And now those moment are gone since people are either stop played WvW or transfered to better server thus making server even less populated.

2) What do you like least about WvW? What makes you frustrated about it or makes you want to stop WvW in favor of something else like PvE, PvP or even EotM? (I consider EotM play separate).
One and only: Being outnumbered. It’s sad that a low population server is still getting overun by more populated people and I still can’t believe that there is no fix for that.

3) What tier are you in?
Bottom Tier at EU Bronze

4) Have you switched servers for WvW? Why?
Only once for WVW Tournament season (Btw, thanks for a free transfer, ANET)
And before people ask why I didn’t transfer to better tier server. I’ll ask to you: should you follow a lambs to too small gate? Shame that a huge amount of people are still Meta game on WvW.

Nowdays, I’m at WvW only because it’s fastest way to get Daily Achievement done. Other than that, there’s no nice thing to say about WVW on low population server and it’s why I stop playing WvW seriously. And no, I will not pay gems just for transfer to other server. I keep those gems by self for now.

This is something I can never understand. Anet keeps saying they want people to move away from full zerk and all DPS traits, but then they keep making more and more stuff which just encourages people to stack DPS. It just makes no sense.

If you want people to diversify builds, make content that requires or encourages diverse builds, not content with arbitrary DPS-checks.

This bothers me as well, especially at Boss Blitz event in The Crown Pavilion. Adding Indomitable to bosses shutdowns a most of builds/skills thus making “your own variated builds” totally useless. But sure Bleeding, Poison & other Conditions are still passable, but then again it’s still limited.

I planning to move far away from server where I was being there nothing but crunched so far. I looking for a nice guild on crowded server that I could be useful in battle.

I prefer to play PvE content, however I can be participate in WvW if needed especially upcoming tournament. =D

My characters are 80 lvls Engineer, Thief and Warrior.

Anyone interested to taking me off to other server before a free transfer ended?

I have a same issue since the latest update of GW2, so it has to be something related with that.

I’m using a 5.1 surround sound speakers, so dunno if anyone has same problem with that?
