i actualy had this same problem a while ago after chainging my password but after waiting about 2 days the password chainge also worked on my game account so i would suggest some patience. and otherwise you will want to contact support

there is no need to argue about this any further smooth penguin is right.

its not allowed but they dount have this as a very high priority in terms of banning people.

the security mesures are realy not that bad on gw2. as one of the major mmo’s out there they are a prime target for hackers and phishing attempts.

but aside from that have you tried to
recover password by mail and serial that way you do not need your old password.

You have off course always the right to ask a laywer for opinions. Cause you are chinese and Arenanet is an American company it is important to find out wich laws are applicable. You are not allowed to use a service in the USA, by the owner of this service also in the USA. That means in this case American laws are the ones that count. So you need an USA laywer.

Actualy bouth Chinese law and USA law apply in this circumstance becose the service is also provided in china Chinese law apply’s and the company is in the USA so basic us law also applys.

Aside of that very well written reply and i agree with the points you made i just placed this here since it is important if he is planning to take leagal action

my love for necro was at the release of gw1:factions when i started mine i kept playing necro and loved the wide range of possibilities. mele, tank, ranged dps it can do it all not the best at any of it but always with more tricks to be used.

this carried over to gw2 and i was plesantly supprised that the necro still has more versatility then the other classes and has the power to get things done.

also it is always fun to be able to 1v1 90% of the thiefs and warriors and still be one of the best at seige defence/offence

knowing arenanet’s policys they are going to reply that it is agenst the terms of service to use 3rd party programs. (they have to do this for legal reasons) and that they cant give support to accounts that have used 3rd party programs

ArenaNet cannot approve or review or “vet” any third-party programs. Our general policy is that anything that gives advantage is forbidden; anything that imbalances the game in favor of one player over another is strictly disallowed. With that said, we are aware that some utilities help players without impacting others, that is, they do not give anyone an advantage over someone else.

that aside they are very good in not doing anything agenst these kinds of programs like texmod (same thing in gw1)

p.s. be carefull with what 3rd party software you download and use make sure it is not a keylogger or malware.

I really need to see what happed with chanta first hand.

i can only imagine big parts of the jade sea bing mined out for money but then the mines and quarry’s getting filled with fresh water from the rain (cant get out of the jade). and so in century’s time the jade sea will be back to its original state.

and this is just a random idea chanta has so much potential i cant imagine not having it anymore in the gw2 universe.

and for the cultural thing i do not understand how this would be a problem. it is clearly not from a popularity standpoint seeing that many people loved chanta’s style.

but not having info on this or why this decision was made makes it hard for us players to argument on why it is better to have chanta then not.
