… OK. Asked the question in Lions Arch. Got the answer: The “top” or grab-able part of the frame for the mini map is on the right edge/side. Where the Zoom and pointer icons are, grab in the middle and you can pick top and bottom.

I also seem to have caused this to happen. I’ve been known to send bug reports from time to time you can reference those as well. Is there a command for opening up the layout of the frames? I thought i remember seeing something like that in the hints, but I cant find the command again. Any assistance would be appreciated :-)

Really? Lottery? Didn’t realize the only way to get the precursor was to play the one armed bandit (and no trading post doesn’t count for a reliable/realistic way to obtain it till the economy of the game balances out). So in a game where i get excited about a rare drop (and the only exotic’s I’ve seen have been from map completion), the TP prices for majority of items is below vendor price (after the TP’s 20% cut), and the only reliable way to get leather and cloth is from deconstructing armor (also necessary for gathering the exto i believe); i’m supposed to take stacks of gear and hope to get a legendary? The player gets no say as to which they want? What’s the point of farming a dungeon and everything else… then the lottery doesn’t give you the weapon you’ve been working towards. The developers can’t have it both ways. If they want players to feel…blessed(?)… for getting an exotic or rare drop, then shouldn’t be surprised when they squeal about having to throw it away and get nothing in return. If the choices are a 1/4 part of a crappy chance to get something i want, or to deconstruct for common materials {NEVER RECEIVED ANY FINE MATERIALS FROM USING A DECONSTRUCTION KIT} it sounds like getting nothing for an epic drop.
I think this is one of the best points i could make for the argument of a serious upgrade to the loot system.

From what I’ve seen: either change the text on the deconstruction kits, or start making them put out. I mentioned it above, the only materials i get from deconstruction is common crafting materials and a decent chance on the upgrade component. The only thing holding back my efforts with crafting is the availibilty of the Fine materials.

Constructive Ideas
-Any non agressive creature should drop base crafting material alot more.
-Junk items should be able to be combined into fine crafting items.
-Butter should be a kharma item for cooks, and get them out of the bags.
-Blue-Green-Yellow Decon-Kits should return fine crafting materials every time.
-Have some kind of acnolegement or reward system for players that properly report abusive behavior.
-Crafted legendarys should be creatable by player characters. If other legendary’s were drops (or the mystic forge same random principle) then people wouldn’t complain (as much).

Overall the only 2 complaints i have with the game to date is the rediculousness of the dungeons’ explore modes and the dismal drop rate.

The consensus I’ve seen on my server is a general avoidance of the dungeons. In fact I see 80’th level characters decline explore invites because they’re too hard. I’ve been in a number of runs only to have group members leave…simply because it was taking too long. Overall: Content is great, all mobs need hit points SEVERELY reduced, and the loot needs to get bumped up. As it’s been mentioned in this thread already: 1) Trash mobs take too long to kill and rewards are insufficient 2) Loot-not so much quality but quantity needs to get bumped up, especially if the only source of leather and cloth is from deconstruction (loot bags too.. but enough with the KITTENS BUTTER!) 3) If you watch the linked videos, the commentator’s usually spend a fair amount of time complaining about hp’s and such 4) I understand that the intent is for the explore runs to be run by competent groups/guilds (I’ve read somewhere that it’s not supposed to be done by the average PUG); if that level of coordination is expected/required then party chat should be built into the game.

One last thing: the range on the guns. Where’s the benefit in using the rifle? Yes it’s slightly more damage than a pistol, but that doesn’t apply to the (weapon) kits. Is there a chance of getting the same range as the Ranger class (1200). I also find it interesting that the “short bow” has the same range as the “long bow.” I think a little more balance to the long-short bow and rifle-pistol would be to have a blanket 1200 (long/rifle) and 900 (short/pistol).

As i saw mentioned, it would be great to be able to use the flamethrower knock-back (attk #3) and the explosive projectile (attk #2).

The biggest things i would like seeing is getting the auto-fire to remember for the kits that are used. It severely limits the effectiveness of the kits to have to manually set the auto fire every time i want to switch. Better explanations would be great as well. I didn’t know how AWSOME elixir R is until i read some of the pvp builds. I have noticed issues with party members in dungeons unable to pick up the dropped flamethrower/elixir gun. If the above threads are accurate for the rest of the buggs in the profession, than resolution would be much appreciated. It’s already a squishy profession, and i need to use all the tricks i can to keep rolling (solo, group play is great because everyone else just keeps on truckin, i just need to get a shot on the targets.) It kinda sucks that the support class has to focus on damage in order to get any xp or loot from kills. Maybe kills from any buffed or healed character grants loot/xp?
Also, what’s the point of equiping a shield? The defense bonus is pitiful. Right now my LVL 60 Legendary shield has (36)1/6 the defense of my lvl 50 legendary leather chest piece. Shouldn’t something made of metal and wood be tougher than leather armor? If the character is sacrificing damage for defense (especially a squishy leather class) it’s tough to argue it’s effectiveness.
