I know Arenanet will not respond (if they are doing something about it they don’t want to give the hackers a heads up ) BUT… this is getting beyond a joke. The amount of time /in game gold we have all spent to have it taken away by a few hackers (and FSP zerg capitalising on them) is heartbreaking and WILL kill WVW in the end.
We don’t mind getting beat by a better server as long as we have good fights… but this is a joke.

In the gaming industry it is generally standard pratice not to mention anything about mass bans or incoming hotfixes to hacks/glitch until you have actually done it. The reason being is that if you announce it everyone stops for a week, waits abit then starts again.

It also means those making the hacks/using them start to try and find a way to change the code so they do not get detected by the system.

Im sure ArenaNet are aware of the problem and know if it gets worse it will kill WvW for a lot of players. I will continue to play WvW unless it becomes the norm for hackers to rule the game.
Ive heard as many have on forums ect about hacking in GW2 but never seen any personally until this week when for the last few days Ive seen nothing but hackers using fly/invisible hacks on all the borderlands in this weeks match up.
I even had players from another server request a party invite and speak to me and chat about the problem they are too having with these hackers.
As for whining or QQing this post was not about that but about trying to get some response from the devs to reassure us that something is and will be done to these cheaters.
Ive played enough MMO’s in my life (Im over 60 years old) to know exploits and hackers will be in games… but as Ive said I have seen many MMO’s die because the devs do something to late to save it.
As for insults and childish remarks… I treat them like the muppets they are …i ignore them.

Still no response from ArenaNet then on this post. I’m dismayed and worried on this official Forum.
I’m sure someone from Anet as by now read all the posts and concerns here but still no reply or reassurances. (I’m amazed this topic like others hasn’t been deleted as do most topics on hacking within the game)
Please please please ArenaNet respond to this topic and posts and give us some hope that WvW will not be ruined by the growing number of mindless idiots who resort to this hacking culture. (this as you may know as ruined so many MMO’s in the past)

Im not naming names or servers but the number of invisible/flying hacking going on in WvW is going to kill the game eventually.
I know we get the usual “use the in game reporting system with screen shots ect” (how do you screen shot a hacker who is invisible anyway)
I posted the fraps video to Guild Wars 2 twitter account so they can see the indecent of 4 hardened veteran roamers getting killed by someone who was totally invisible all the time. (even the combat log says unknown hit with X amount of dmg)
This WILL kill WvWvW eventually as the number of hackers is increasing week by week.
Please can we have a statement from the devs that they are devising some sort of in game code that will detect these cheaters and perm ban them from the game.

Before you all rage on me… I know this is not the place and also I know Arenanet must look at this stuff forums page from time to time.
Its about some hackers from FSP who are
a)making WvW a joke atm
b) Giving FSP server a bad name
Im sure its a hard job for Arenanet to monitor Millions of reports and players in the game after all the cool stuff they do.
We will continue to try and report these invisible/fly/invulnerable hacking players with screen shots ect…(which is hard when you cant even see there tags let along the players.)
But a little post reassuring us that some thing is or will be done to stop these players ruining what is a fantastic game (PVE and WvW)

We have taken screen shots and reported these hackers on the report function in game … nothing as been done or responded to other than “report in game” ect ect (even Far Shiverpeak players have done the same )….
Please Arenanet look into the matter and get some one to respond other than say the usual "use the report function with screen shots).
PS the only time the FSP players can report them is when these hackers steal a golem and for a split second they see there tag or name.

This all said please please please don’t give us the usual report in game with screen shots… all players do this but with no official response with something like " We are aware of this and will be doing something in the future"

I speak for all the servers and decent players.

[WvW] had fun running our Asura Ele ops today, we fought and laughed our level 5 hearts out, 20 meteor showers in the same place is amazing xD we soldiered on despite a few wipes from FURY, the first time a few laughed at us, which was mean after by broke our 9 armour shoes as well, and wiped a few times again to TUP, however won against an AR Zerg of 30-40, albeit with meteor shower spam whilst we had them cornered

Bzzzt rtl spam is also quite fun, however we didn’t feel as inclined to get into close quarters with you guys! It was a painful evening but very fun, most of us will be deleting those chars now, so expect a sylvari flower power zerg next week, hippies everywhere!

As a member of WvW guild I must admit I was laughing so much i couldn’t play properly (and my OP ele was level 6). our army of lvl 5-7 asura ele’s (dressed in very fetching purple/pink) Took there Garrison without the use of 1 bit of siege . We tried waving dancing to show there zergs we meant no harm… but WVWVW is what it is and they attacked us…(boooo)… but we had so much fun I don’t think one of us QQed or raged… because… we were laughing to much. and as Ezeee said next week… flower power makes a comeback ;-))

I salut to the commanders of PS and AR that worked toghether, despite the " in-game sport-hatred between servers " and language barrier. Its showed that commanders have what it takes to lead their server to victory.

Looking at the score, i consider this match a draw between 3 servers. Woul anyone else agree with this statement?

MMMM nope… Gandara won… in so many ways. We were going to get our bottoms handed to us this week (i know there were holidays in there ) but it was the same for all servers.
Our commanders are learning from Pikens tactics (if they had more players active on that server they would be number 1 tbh.
Well done to ALL Gandara’s Commanders and all the players who teamed up with them and all the gank guilds (to many to mention).
There was a backlash against Piken which i feel was undeserved as it was a couple selfish commanders on both servers that made a bad decision to try and beat Gandara.

Well Its nice to see honorable players on all sides in this match up… Ive been involved in so many enjoyable battles this week against Piken and AR. I was sorry to hear about the alleged alliance between Piken and AR this week. I thought it was just coincidence the 2 servers were hitting us at the same time (It does happen) but it seems after the posts here this was not the case.
It happened in Aion as well with a guild making a deal with the opposition (ie Asmodians) to keep the lower area of the Abyss while the Elyos kept the top forts)
Nearly all the guild rebelled and blacklisted that guild until it dissipated from the server.
The leader of that guild (who I will not name) is a predominant leader of a guild in Piken Square. (you know who you are)
I pray to god he isn’t bringing those tactics to Piken as Ive found the players on that server to be fair and not exploit invulnerability areas as a lot of players have done in the past match ups. In fact they stood there ground and fought to the last man even though they could have move to a safe zone next to a cliff… Kudos to you players I say.
Really enjoyed the battle with both servers tbh… Piken you rock with your tactics and group playing (/tips hat) AR just have massive numbers and are less organized than Piken but none the less hard to fight.
As others have said in post above… I hope this isn’t what moving up tiers means to Gandara… playing with commanders who for one reason or another cant fight a fair fight.
See you on the battle field and I respect all of you who rightfully condemned the actions of a few Muppets on you respective servers.

We held our own against them last week but last night they seemed to be a bigger zerg than usual When the draw came up again, even the most hardcore of WvW players seemed a little demoralised by the prospect of facing JS and FR again.

But it is what it is, I think a lot of people are planning to spend this week in the PvE world so that we drop down.

I agree… I will play pve this week and next week on the new content arriving. It can get disheartening when we were winning and both French servers joined forces to stomp us (they cant will a fair fight WVWVW it seems) I know Arenanet are ok with 2 servers joining forces but can you see 2 mainly english servers joining up? I think not.
That said it amazes me how many french do WVWVW… were always outnumbered (even when we were against 1 server at a time) in a fair fight ie relatively same numbers zergs ect we were better than them… they only beat us with numbers and not skill… then when we were winning they decided to team up with each other and increase there numbers even more :p
It may seem like sour grapes from me… but I love a fair fight… not this “We have more players online than you therefore we can beat you”.

We are getting very frustrated by players who are using a exploit/bug that makes them invulnerable whilst able to attack you defending Godstone Quarry (also other areas similar.
They stand near the hill at the back of the quarry and become invulnerable.
two things spring to mind.
1) If they are invulnerable so should you to them.
2) They can just stay there until you get fed up with waiting for them to come out and take the supply camp.
We have reported the players who use this exploit but nearly all do it.
I enjoy WvWvW but this kind of exploit (aka cheating ) really makes me and others mad.
