Less people playing. Its hard to be sure because of megaservers but i am constantly on maps with german players which was not the case before – and all on my follower list is offline. People stoped playing after legendary scam – they just removed HoT 16 legendaries as a feature of HoT on official page. A lot of people had legendaries as end game – more than metrics could show them. Also dungeons. So no endgame no players. There is new players there, not just f2p but new in HoT, but i think its more people stoped playing then come to game.

TP barons are controlling market, look at prices – its like 333gold and next offer 1500. they are buying all that comes to TP. Anet should increase drops so that anyone who wants them can get them. Or is invisible shoes team working on next expansion?

Not delivering what is paid for is money grab. you can call it scam also. for example – if you lend someone money and that person dont want to pay you your money back he or she wont say thay they wont return you your money. they will say that they cant do that for a moment but will some time in future. that was what happened with Anet. Thay said we will deliver soon… in regular intervals. now its we cant, not enough money, but dont worry, one day in future.

and ls3 is something already too late bacause we didnt get ls3 because of hot and ls was core game feature… and next expansion is like: i know i own you your money, but preaty pleeeeaaaase just give me some more and i will then pay you back this and all money you gave me before.

So… they put everything thay can in HoT – like guild buffs, half of fractals – new legendaries that were said to be part of core game in 2013, grind for old legendaries is also in HoT… things left in core game are nerfed – dungeons. So its just money grab. And decision to not make any more new legendaries for a long time because thay can not afford 6 devs while 70 are already working on next paid expansion….

its all slap in the face. money grab – nothing more, covered with a lot of info how many devs is working on what part of game – why should i care about that? we paid for hot, and thay said that part of that paid product will be done in regular intervals. suspending it indefinitely is not regular intervals.
plus a lot of people here defending them because we will now get better living story 3? maybe but only because of ls gated behind hot, so f2p buy the game.

I started another subscription based mmo 2 days ago… and suspend my playing here indefinitely – i will maybe just do daily log in. Debts paid quickly encourage friendship.

Bye mikey, chuka and champawat! After my 3000 hours in game i call it shenanigans. I am off to other games. really dont see the point. Wvw is dead, no new legendaries i paid for, but grind is real – and what for? I enjoyed looking at legendaries even if i dont have them. Why did we collect all masteries? I will look for what is happening here from time to time but i am off of this kitten. There is planty fish of in the sea. Lets face it gw2 is a grind without goal. Living ever changing world was selling point of a game and that vanished after ls1, so this is not first time you broke promise.

LOL i loged in to forum after almost a year for this. we have to buy game again!? i bought game as a present to friend few times but i am not buying it for myself again. dont call it free gift. I have around 3000 hours in gw2 but for 50bucks i am buying Witcher 3 or new Batman except expansion map is size of core game, which is not.

also i will spend more time in eso online with all their grind. they have f**** horses which gw2 dont have even with expansion.

fair price would be like 25 for expansion at most, but after this 50 price i will be waiting for a price to drop to 10. i am sorry i ever spend money on gems to support anet instead of buying them with in game gold

I play phantasm buils, mostly in PvE, i would like to go WvW more often.
I play Skoteinos Phantasm build – now 20/20/0/30/0
But would like to try staff in WvW instead of GS. (i will also play more dungeons then open world in PvE – so with Stuff have more group support)

Should I just switch GS for Staff sometimes or try this?

I use Berserker armor and weapons. with Fire and Energy Sigils, and Air runes.
Trinkets will be Celestial and 1 Berserker (dont have all ascended trinkets)
Sword is untraited, but i mostly use GS so i except i will be mostly with Staff.

I have Rune of air on Armor and on aqua breather 7/6

Other players also have tried – rune ability 6 of 6 lighting strike on hit is not ever hiting under water. So far nobody contact me and confirm that rune is working, only that is not.

I play mesmer human.

It is big fail especially for WvW and PvP but also for PvE since it is mayor ability of rune and to use it you have to buy 7th rune.
Pls any feedback welcome.

Anyone with Runes of Air can check please if lighting strike hits in water?

I tried today again. I went to queensdale so enemies are weak and can hit me many times and i dont have to worry about damage. So like 50hits and not one triggered lighting. On land is working.

Mesmer, Fervid Censer backpack on phantasm is not transparent. it is solid like on character.

I got connection error few times this morning. But its working now. Did not change anything in windows.

Hi! I have Rune of air on armor, also on aqua breather. But looking at combat log i cant see that lighting is working in water. Can please who is using rune of air confirm. Maybe its just luck that i miss that chance for lighting.

On GS fire. Or is maybe +5crit more damage (single target).
I dont know about the staff yet. I am looking for dps so also fire, air or +5crit. Why Energy on staff as suggested and not air/fire?

So its ok to have Air Runes with Air Sigil?

I have berserker armor with air runes. Bought berserker weapons. What Sigil should I use? Its GS and Sword/Focus – sometimes Staff and Sword/Focus. I read that air, fire or +5crit are good choices. Air is more damage then Fire. If I allready have air runes can I use Air sigil or they overlap counters so one is not in use? Fire is cheaper. Shoul I get fire for GS,S and Staff ad +5crit for Focus. Please suggest any other!

I have two new builds.
First:
Shatter cat mist as a base with two changes- for PvE and WvW – instead of 20 in Chaos 20 in Inspiration.

No Staff trait but Vigorous Revelation.
That way i will have more survivability because clone on dodge. But also there is a shortcoming – i will get used to more dodges then i should have without that. Maybe its not good for practice.
I will try it now to see if it works as i think it would. Because no Staff trait I can practice GS and Staff and not loose Trait for Staff when using GS.

Another change is Focus Trait Warden Feedback to learn Projectile deflection. Did not try it yet.

Hi! I am level 80 but still acquiring lvl80 gear and weapons, so they are not included in Build editor. I plan to use Berserker exotic armour with Air runes (4 pieces by now) and something like knights/berserker on weapons and trinkets. That way I have air runes combo in armour and change stats with weapons and some trinket if needed.

Like to use staff but GS is better on long range, still undecided, but i use staff more. Sword/focus for mobility. Skills are usually Blink, Decoy and Arc Th or something to deflect projectiles. Elite is Mass invs or Hounds (to distract) in Pve and Time Warp in Dungeons. I play 90% Pve and 10% Dungeons. Plan to use Portal also – in WvW, PvP and Dungeons.

So I put Sword and Staff training in Traits because this is my common combo.
Like to use clones/phantasm and Mind Wrack after first attack by phantasms.

Also shatter on player is good for all 4 shatter skills, fast attack and distorsion.
I tried Staff/GS it is great in battle but too slow for going around, I get used to Focus. And goes well with Sword. Use sword a little less then i should but I am still getting used to close range!
I tried some popular and good builds like Osicat Mist and Lazy build. Lazy is good but dont like GS;) Osicat is also great and uses “my” weapons of choice but this is my try to think something out.

Still have almost 50% of world map to go so i am mostly in Pve, plan to go WvW and PvP.

Today I installed latest Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2840149)
I could not log in to the game. Error code something that it is Firewall or something similar. But I did nor change Firewall settings. I use Windows 7 Firewall. Tried several times to log in. Then I used System restore to remove update. i remembered that it was only change to computer. Now everything is working again. I dont know is it update or was something else went wrong. Also delivery of confirmation mail was slow (i always get confirmation mail because i have dynamic i address) while problem manifested, but after 10 minutes delay i finally get confirmation email. I can install update again to check will it manifest log in problem again. Anyone have that update (it is latest update released today) and log in problems?
