Beta Weekend Scrapper Feedback Thread

Instead of trying the heart of thorns content . I decide to take my character out to the regular world and test it with party members and well this is my opinions based off of it

This is my feedback on the scrapper
I wish I could put more feedback on the hammer, but I think it’s perfect where it is at. I found it very useful especially mixing it with certain kits and it seemed to be useful and fun to play with. I honestly have nothing bad to say about it

The traits again, I am stuck like with the hammer . Most of them are pretty good, and they work with many other kits and other skills perfectly I can find many different builds that are a lot of fun to play with using those skills.

The gyros . This is where the scrapper begins to fall apart to be brutally honest, most the skills are for the most part, worthless currently all I think of one Gyro. I like

functional Gyro my opinion on this skill is it so broken. They should just remove it completely in all honesty, it’s really useless in every sense of the word i don’t mean to be so harsh. It’s just I could never find a use for it no matter what I did in the game, it dies way to easily and only useful in certain circumstances . For example, I see one of my party members is in bleed out. I send out my robot to help him needless to say the robot didn’t make it and once they’re dead . It’s impossible for it to revive them

The medic Gyro . I can’t give feedback on this one because I never used it didn’t see the need to

The blast Gyro is not that bad in my opinion, it’s very circumstantial, but it works extremely well

shredder Gyro has to be my favorite one currently it has a perfectly long lifespan and it does a lot of stuff during that timeframe. It is great for combos I been able to pull off lots of combos with it. To simply put, I give it five out of five truly love it

Purge Gyro . I been trying to use this thing but never had a good opportunity to it just seemed kind of useless, especially with how little time he can exist out in the world

Sneak Gyro . This one’s might as well just be a regular skill , it only is able to hide five people . And sticks out like a sore thumb . people even talk about ways to just completely destroy its usefulness. Not even five minutes after it was revealed

the Bulwark Gyro . I think it works very well. It’s great for rough situations when you need extra defense, especially with your party . The problem is it’s lifespan is so short, it defeats the whole purpose when during its somewhat useless in my personal opinion , the lifespan of it should be set at 1 minute 30 seconds and it’s cool down be set to 3 minutes that way you will have to plan ahead befor using it. Yes, it does stay out for a long.Time but once it’s gone, you got 3 minutes until you can do something about it

That is so far my feedback of the class

Hello I’m a bit confused after seeing an picture that lists the placeholder costs for an upgrade 1000 mithril ingots, 1000 bolt of silk, etc. etc. (the picture) I understand that resources are needed for construction of buildings, but the thing I don’t understand is. does it scale for different sized guilds? for example to a five-man guild that may seem like a lot of resources to them but to an 100 men Guild That’s very cheap. so my question is does it scale based off of your guild size or is the resource costs is going to be set in stone?

I’m looking at this with a different view. I could care less. Whether or not Guild wars 2 core game is included I’m evaluating my thoughts on the game based off of what arena net said that the expansion are alone worth $50 . My issue with this is ignoring all of the core content there not much here for my 50 bucks so far I only know about one map that expands to something similar to three maps, a bunch of new skills, legendary crafting, a new class, and Guildhalls don’t get me wrong. These are great things, but my issue is with the lack of information about content that’s coming with this. It’s so far is not justified getten the purchase in my eyes, but it’s very important to note that not much information has been released yet so far. If I were to judge the expansion with what’s been shown so far. I would say be worth around anywhere between $20-$30. That’s only because the lack of information. as more of the expansion is revealed. It may justify the $50 price tag , but only time will tell. And if it turns out there’s not much content with it . They will lower the price. When sells begin to dwindle I would recommend for the best course of action for most people right now is to wait and not preorder until they feel like the content of the expansion alone is worth 50$ To them.

Hello I’m sorry to bug you all about this but I have a few questions that I really badly need answered. I’d rather get input from the community before I purchase. here at the few questions I have

1. excluding the original Guild wars2 game how much more content does the expansion add like how many more maps and what new and exciting things does it add ?

2. is it worth the $50 for the basic or would I find more functionality and enjoyment out of getting the larger packs?

3. what will happen to people who cannot afford the expansion with a miss out on events or other later content because of it?

4. Would it be possible to skip over this expansion and play the next expansion whenever it comes out?

5. If somebody in my guild does not have the expansion but I do and I put up a Guildhall, will they be able to visit it?

6. Are there any options to allow me to send the expansion as a gift to my friends?

7. And lastly, is there any discounts for buying the expansions in bulk like if I buy six copies of it?

I thank you all for your time in reading this and I really do appreciate any input I can get on this before I make the purchase

Hello sorry to bug you all with this but I’m very confused about something I might need some help and I didn’t know where to put this and I did a quick search and the forms in the came up of nothing about this. I wanted to know if ReShade is allowed like sweetFX was before the patcher update . I’ve been hearing a lot of people saying you’ll be banned for it and just as many people saying that you won’t be banned for it. So I’m just a little confuse if it’s allowed . Does anyone know if it is allowed or not
