Hi!
Since today’s update (not sure if it’s the reason, but it is a correlation), running Guild Wars 2 causes serious overheating issues for me. Basically, I play for 10-20 minutes and then my MacBook dies of heat.
The only two other processes consuming any noticable computing power are Google Chrome Skype. Guild Wars is eating up to 390% CPU. The fans are running at full speed and I made also sure of that through smcFanControl. Also, my laptop is on a pad with three external fans and extra venting space.
This used to happen to me on Bootcamp sometimes, if I DIDN’T use the external fans. Never on Mac, never with external fans attached.

Edit: After overheat “restart” or after closing GW, the temperature goes down from 98 degrees Celsius (last registered number) to 64 degrees, even while still using the dynamic card.
Edit2: Actually, by “today’s update”, I mean I updated today. It might be something earlier. Last time I played on Monday, I believe late afternoon or maybe even evening Pacific time.

I’m not sure that siphon abilities for Necromancer Dagger weapon skills are working properly. They seem much too low to be viable.
I’ve had a similar experience so far, I hoped it’s gonna get better with the siphon trait boosts. It’s been keeping me alive at least somehow, though.
Hey guys, I’d like to ask you for some comments on this Bloodthirst Dagger Build which I got from here (The author is Haider Khan).
I’ve just started playing GW2 yesterday, I’m new to the GW world, and for now I want more play, less study (not my usual habit, but I just want to taste the game as much as possible while I have a little free time).
It doesn’t seem that this would be a discussed build around here, but do you think it is currently playable at all? I’m level 14 and primarily investing in Power, started to fill up the Blood Magic trait tree.
My specific questions:
1] Do you think this build is viable for (mostly single) PvE? (complicated gameplay is ok, actually a plus, but is it going to work at all?)
2] Do you think Power is the right choice for a prime att? I was also thinking Healing Power (which helps me to leach more, right?).
3] Would you make any substantial changes while keeping the playstyle?
I take this as a semi-mobile very close-melee build (because of the daggers’ combat range), which is pretty fun, but it might be better if he could keep his distance for longer than 3 seconds (outside of Death Shroud), because couple times I got into situations, where it’s run away or die. It seems to be pretty close to a build that can manage to stay in a fight for a long time (unless he gets really badly hit) and I’d like to make it a sure thing.
