NO! I hate it. It was so much simpler and straightforward before, why did you have to muddy it up like that? PLEASE change it back to the way it was before!
Searching for armor is just plain tedious at the moment. … adding a way to filter it to things only usable by your profession or even just armor type would be a very welcome change.
Yes! I can’t believe this is not an option. Please, ANet, please give us more filters to make searching for items in the market simpler!
ANet – which part of “please fix the _________” (for me it’s “targeting system”) did you horrendously misinterpret to read “make the game harder and more annoying”? I hate crafting, it’s boring. Hate dodge / evade & combos, right hand is a little wonky so it’s all I can do to stand there and bash the enemy into submission. Thanks for nothing.

“The game client lost its[sic] connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again.”
Same here. My warrior is somewhere in the Snowden Drifts on Sorrow’s Furnace and I can’t stay on for more than 10 or 15 seconds without getting disconnected.
It makes sense to come into a mob with the sensible intent to start at one end and work your way to the other. But all too often I kill the first, see the second one highlighted and naturally think I’m going to attack it next, only to have my character charge through the mob in order to attack … supplies?!?! guaranteeing that I aggro everything in the room and have no hope but to die. Often this happens even if I click the appropriate buttons to manually target the next enemy. Why do I not automatically target the nearest enemy? Why? This makes absolutely no sense and is extremely annoying.
My wife & I both play on two separate accounts. She likes to craft, I do not. Since she’s been giving me items she has crafted I decided to send her my character’s crafting items. After sending a couple of mails to her account I started being held up with “your message was suppressed due to excessive messaging”. I’d have to wait a minute before sending another, and what should have been a quick & easy transfer turned into a long drawn-out chore. There’s no reason I can see for this tiresome delay. Come on Anet, don’t make the it harder for players to help each other out.
Does someone want to elaborate? I know nothing about City of Heros or what the OP is talking about.
There was a well-known GM in COH known as “GM Lloyd.” Apparently, there’s a GM Lloyd here in GW2 as well (who knows, maybe the same GM Lloyd?) and OP got nostalgic.
I’m part of a small guild made up of former COH players on Sorrow’s Furnace and it’s awesome to see other fellow COH players in GW2.
I’m also an ex-CoH citizen who remembers GM Lloyd and am happy to welcome him here with thanks for the many jams he towed me out of trouble there. And I’m wondering if there’s an established guild for other expats at Borlis Pass or am I going to have to transfer my tribe to Sorrow’s Furnace? :-)

Do you mean “change”?
2.) The Spawn Rate. This seems especially significant in underwater zones even beyond orr. On the rare occasion someone can actually navigate successfully and manage to slice their way through a jungle of enemies, they are slowly ensnared within a circle of mobs which quite literally never ends. In the time it takes to kill even a weak mob another has spawned, and veteran or stronger monsters are simply out of the question without extremely careful planning about one’s surroundings.
So completely agree! It is beyond frustrating to fight your way into a zone killing everything in your path only to have the enemies you wiped out magically re-appear and attack you from behind. I’m starting to seriously regret investing money and time in this game, something I never did with City of Heroes. FIX THE SPAWN RATE!!!
When I try to sell something in BLT I choose ‘meet highest buyer’ (doesn’t everybody?) But often the highest bid is lower than the vendor price, at which point I’m denied in big red letters that state “unit price must be higher than vendor value” and I’m not allowed to list the item. If you can’t list it for less than vendor value, why can people bid for less than vendor value? I’m the first to admit economics is not my long suit, but this seems kinda weird to me…
But I’m poor…
They want you to buy gems..
Recently I was trying to report a bug (escort character stuck in rock) but kept getting attacked while trying to report and take a screenshot. Very irritating to have to exit out of the report to fight bad guys, then start the bug report all over again, exit report, fight bad guy, start report all over again, exit report, fight bad guy, etc, etc, etc. Please make it so that no one will attack me when I have the support screen open Thanks!
Am I the only one a bit disappointed with the norn female voice acting?
No disappointment here. That’s Claudia Christian, aka Commander Susan Ivanova on Babylon 5. She has a great voice imho!
