Honestly, this is hilarious.
Look guys, they have identified the problem and they are working on it. Go do something else until it is fixed. The amount of material in this game to keep us entertained until they fix these collections quest will quench your thirst for needing something productive to do with your life. Do I wish it was fixed by now? Yes. Am I working towards other legendaries, masteries, collections, etc; waiting patiently for it to be fixed? You bet.
Just sit tight and be calm. Getting worked up doesn’t help anyone and really isn’t want developers need right now.
Sorry, but I just don’t get this. We PAID for something. And it is broken. If it were a car, and you took it back to the place you bought it, would you just accept the response, “We know what’s wrong. Hopefully it will be working soon.” Of course not! You’d want to speak to a manager, ask for a refund, and take your business elsewhere.
Why should we, the customers, have to wait for a working product THAT WE ALREADY PAID FOR? I understand there is other content. And I intend to keep playing. But that isn’t the point. Anet needs to make some sort of formal apology to those of us who purchased a broken product, along with some kind of compensation for our trouble. That’s called customer service. And right now I’m not seeing it.
Bump, still happening
yup same error. Any body have any responses?
Can anyone confirm that the login server is down? Been trying for 30 minutes to login and nothing.
We had a very productive night in WvW. Had loads of fun with taking camps in SoR borderlands and then migrated to EB. When I arrived TC had trebbed down 3 Stonemist walls from overlook keep. We had just gotton to their trebs and taken them out. I spent the first 30 minutes rebuilding our walls porting from lowlands.
There were many notable battles. TC put up quite a fight. We attempted 5 different times to take the red keep. We golem rushed it, catapulted it, trebbed it and melee’d it, but TC held for more than 2 hours. We were forced to bleed them out of supplies slowly and attack 2 gates simutaneously before we were able to take it from them.
While we were throwing everything we had at TC, SoR zerg rushed a large part of the map. Once Overlook was claimed and cleared, we quickly reclaimed all of it. We then pushed into SoR grounds and without much resistance claimed all of EB. As of 6AM server time, BG was completely dominating WvW.
After being outmanned most of the night, I was kinda feeling we needed one of these.

I am going to side with those calling for a dynamic cap. I tend to like the idea of going by 50 person increments. And for the QQer’s that say this doesn’t solve the “nightcapping” problem, you’re not seeing the big picture. If you can’t muster at least 50 people per map at any given time because your server population is low (or has low interest in WvW), then your server just became attractive to people on more populated servers that have long queues at that time. Long term it will promote balance between servers.
As a side note, making the cap map based would stop some of the “map loading” strategies that are being used currently. Where the entire server loads onto 1 map and proceeds to zerg cap everything before moving to another, for the express purpose of destroying upgrades and siege equipment. If that map only has 100 of each server defending it, you can’t bring 400+ to wipe it out.
Blackgate bugged as well
yep same for blackgate
