Having a similar issue, though tonight my client isn’t crashing — just getting sent to character select. Constantly.

I can play for about 10-12 minutes and then I’m logged out with with the 7:11:3:189:101 code. I’ve had the game since launch and never had this issue, so I dunno what’s going on. Pinging google @ 14ms, getting speeds over what I pay for on speedtest.net. Not sure what the heck the problem could be. Can’t ping the first 2 of your IP addresses at all, the 3rd pings at 114 ms w/ no packet loss.

Just started having this issue yesterday. Going to do a few checks on my router/ethernet drivers/etc. but everything else seems to be running normally at the moment. Spent all week last week doing Halloween without problems >_< frustrating.

I had the same issue. I submitted a ticket Friday night at around 11:30 p.m. and received restored access this afternoon. I’m still curious as to what happened, so hopefully support can answer that for me.

Also wondering this. Just submitted a ticket tonight since it was the first time I logged in for a while and noticed I couldn’t log in. Curious if I should bother checking this weekend or wait until Tuesday.

OK!

So I ran Memtest86+. Found a stick that was faulty. My two Kingston 4GB sticks were fine. But I had two junk Patriot sticks I threw in there because I got them from TigerDirect for free. One of them was dead. I left the other one out because, hey, if you’re having problems with a stick of RAM in less than 3 months out of the box, you probably don’t want to keep it in there.

Rocking 8 GB of RAM. Running just fine now.

Here’s my theory. Where other games may find and skip over bad sections of your RAM, GW2 says, “Hey, sorry buddy, I’m gonna crash now.” 12 GB out of my 16 GB of RAM were a-ok. For what reason GW2 works this way and none of my other games do, I’m not sure. But there are a ton of people playing this game. If that’s what GW2 is programmed to do, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a fair amount of people come out of the woodwork who don’t realize one of their sticks is bad. I know I sure as heck didn’t.

Anyway, if people are having an issue, I highly recommend trying this. Grab an old USB stick, download the USB auto-installer for Memtest, install Memtest to the USB (takes like 2 minutes tops), set your BIOS to boot to that stick, and individually test your RAM, stick by stick. You’ll probably find your problem stick fairly quick. I know I did.

I was able to replicate the crash in GW2 by doing a specific action every time I loaded up the game (pulled up the map, rapidly zoomed out with the mouse wheel). After removing the offending RAM, I immediately restarted my computer with my good sticks, re-verified my files, and started up in Lion’s Arch. I pulled up my map, and went to town with my scroll wheel, in and out, as fast as possible. No crash. I’ll report back here if something changes, but at the moment, everything seems to be working just fine. Wish everyone else good luck getting their problem solved, as I’m pretty convinced that this isn’t the only issue as to why these crashes are happening.

EDIT: Been playing now for a bit… still no crashes, and I’ve been using waypoints, encountering events, and using the map like crazy (all things that would trigger my previous crashes). I feel confident in saying the problem is solved on my end.

I’m also having this issue… I don’t think it’s a memory problem on my end, but I’ll be attempting a Memtest tonight for the heck of it. Everything was working from the outset of the headstart (been playing since day 1). But this past week (more like the past few days), everything decided to go haywire.

I attached a text file which includes a variety of file info, including my system specs, ArenaNet.log, CorruptArchive.log, and VerifyResults.log.

I re-verify every time this happens. It will happen like 3 times in a row, and then I’ll be fine for the rest of the evening. The next day, it starts again. I’ve also noticed that there are instances where I legitimately log out of the game, and GW2 thinks that it was a crash and requests me to re-verify files. It’s confusing.

Will really appreciate any assistance.
