Sorry to hear you have also problems with mail system.
If i can use your topic to say few words about my problem, which disapointed me.
Friend and me decided we gonna try craft legendary together,we ment it will be faster if we do it together.So we wanted to buy precursor which are so expensive. And i mailed to him,for me large amount of gold (275g to be precise),which he never got.
Now,becouse of fail ingame mail system,im not sure what happend..i could only guess,and support team with generic answers does not help either.
My guess is that i send to wrong account,becouse before my friend buyed full account he played on trial for 2-3days.So now he have 2 accounts with almost same display names and there i could fail,and send mail to trial unplayable account.
trial inactive acc- Gorogox.8721
full acc- gorogox.3812
What bothers me is support team,which cant/wont help me even if we have all security informations about accounts.Their answer is to fully upgrade account and take gold from mail.Nice way to treat paying customers!
So from nearly 300g i droped on few silver,and pretty much loss intrest in playing
Please ANET do something with Mail system…it does not work properly.I know its my mistake but there should be better system,for less failures like this.
BTW why there isnt system…if recipient doesnt pick up mail sent to him for X amount of time (for example 1month) mail returns to sender.Everywhere in world that system works,not sure why wouldnt in game?
