We are a very small team. The more skins we made, the less stuff we could make in the Box. So we settled for a minimal set, with plans to add to it with each new World we release. I love Engies and I wish we could have served them and Thieves better this time around, but had to make some tough choices.

Just wanted to say that as an Engineer it kind of sucks there’s no real reward I can get out of this event but I still want to play more of it, so that should tell you how much fun I had with it. I really hope you folks get to make more.

It’s incredibly unlikely that people are making them without realizing what they are. They use materials for rare items despite the name being colored as exotic and since they appeared on the TP they have been listed at what would be a huge loss. Maybe a few people are not paying any attention at all and are somehow doing this without realizing it, but the majority are definitely just scamming.

Unfortunately none of the broken forge recipes have been fixed yet.

Gonna try giving this one last bump but I’m not hopeful given the lack of responses to other Mystic Forge threads.

They haven’t been responding to any of the bugged forge recipes, unfortunately. There are a bunch.

Posted a similar issue with another forge recipe that produces an item of the same level but I haven’t been able to get any kind of acknowledgement yet. Hopefully they fix these recipes because it’s incredibly disappointing to make them.

It’d be really great to get some kind of official word on this. It’s incredibly frustrating to have spent all the money assembling it only to find it’s 18 levels lower than every other crafted recipe discovered so far.

So some of the more involved Mystic Forge recipes, in this case 1 scroll + 70 coins + 100 bones + 30 molten lodestones are producing level 62 items. I’m assuming this isn’t intended so is there any chance these will eventually be fixed and assigned the proper level?
