Why don’t you try posting in Account Issues, which is what this is, and where Michael might see it. He is the ‘Dev’ that would/could communicate your desire to those that might be in a position to change the coding.

I don’t know how normal people think, I’m autistic. But I don’t think any of the things you said. I’m not a slur and my identity isn’t offensive. I’m glad support at least agree with me so when I do get to make the guild despite the extra work I’m not the problem. I’ve been support, one thing that didn’t bother me was working on support tickets. In fact I rather liked it, it assured I got a paycheck every month.
Yes, a support person in fact just emailed me saying that I wouldn’t actually get a dev response, at least not very likely. Inconvenient but since that’s how things apparently work, I’m gonna go ahead and abandon the forums. Game forums seem almost always entirely full of people wanting to tell the OP they’re wrong. Back to lurking which I’m sure will be a happier time for everyone!

No, Support said it was fine. Hello? Again. They said it was FINE. Support. Themselves. They said for me to go through teh forums because that was the only way to talk to the devs who are the ones with access to the filter list. Support doesn’t have that access. They said it was fine. They even said I can go around the filter and use leet or whatever for the filter to not pick it up automatically.
We can have plenty of nice things if their support is willing to take the time to kick off people who are bigots. Which apparently they’re willing to do since alternatives to the specific spelling of queer are fine. I just need a dev to do it and this is apparently the only way to get that to happen >.<

Support said it is fine. They said I can use queer in a non-derogatory way and it’s fine. They said I can get around teh filter any way I want to and I won’t have to change the guild name.
They’re claiming they have no way to talk to the dev team. They said this was the only way to get in touch with the dev team. I did not want to do this in a video game forum for so many, many reasons. Just go away.
I just need a speak to a dev. I tried to do this privately through support. I’m not interested in a tiny inconsequential percentage of players that want to argue about how invalid I am. I could just get on twitter to do that.
i’m queer. LGBTQ. maybe you’ve heard of it? They even made a TV show called queer as folk way back. I never watched that. Me and TV don’t get along.

It’s still literally a slur that still hurts people. Another example would be some black people have been and are reclaiming the n-word but that doesn’t mean they should allow it in guild names. I’m all for reclaiming slurs that have hurt us but tbh it’s still a slur, and thus shouldn’t be allowed in guild names.
my identity is not a slur. I tell you this as an LGBTQ person. Support already said it is fine. I can even go around the filter if I want. Again, I’m not here about your opinion of queer people. I wouldn’t even be here except support told me this is the only way to contact the devs.
Maybe you should not worry about showing in game what kind of person you want to have real life relationship with so much. Is it so important to say that to everyone in game so make it in guild name? I do not have problem with gay people and support right to have relationship with person of choice but no need to advertise all over the place their preference. Most people not really care what a person relationship preference is. I do not make guild name “Not gay” or “Prefer women” no one really care.

Hey, I would like a word removed from the filter. I already spent three hours back and forth with support before they threw their hands up in the air declaring they have no way of changing filtering (which I presumed) and no way to communicate with devs (which makes no kitten sense but whatever).
What/how/where/who to talk to or whatever to get it this sort of thing changed?
