Guild Wars 2

I don’t know. This is a new game and they do things in new ways but still i should be abble to play this event or instance or what ever it is w/o instructions.
I logged in Friday afternoon and it was so confusing with these emails that point to locations that i just had to quit and do something else. This community is new and not very help friendly so if you try to ask questions you more than likely will get ignored . So i tried today again but it is worse now. Looks like it is full of bugs and everybody is chasing something and to busy to answer questions, i hear complains about things that that i have no idea what they are and never seen a thing like this in a game. Hopefully its over by Monday whatever this thing was and i will find out more in the forums.

I played story with a group on the 1st. Bugged at the queen. hope works next time.
At the beginning i was surprise by the strenght of the mobs 2-3 sedons and dead at lvl 80 necro. Later got easier as we were going deepper with a few more deaths just like the rest of the team but we couldn’t get trough the queen. Any tips for this one in exp mode? bye the way what is this Target Assistance and how it works and what are the benefits?

I can’t join or invite parties . I am getting a msg about game client not abble to connect to server. This is new this week. I used to bere able to join or invte.
There is no 0problem with my firewall setting regarding GW2 as it is suggested in the msg hints. What to do?

Where is professor Gorr?
I know not everybody has this story line. I think this is more for asura players/personal story. You have to find this professor(Gorr) in a house in a small town in Kesex Hills. You breake in the doors fight the inquests than you get in a room upstairs where you find this machine with 3 levers you can activate 2 of them, you getting a menu of 4 questions with answers and than nothing happens. Where do i go from here? how i get to the prisoner/ professor. I don’t have a clue ? Surely somebody did this one and it must be easy but i am puzzled to what to do? i click on every question i get the answers and than i am there clueless with nowhere to go.

My character is getting closer to lvl cap -72 right now.
I would like to go to Frostgorge Sound which will take me to 80 w/o changing zones
again. Anyone has an advice on how can i get there the easiest way.
I never been in Wayfarer Foothills which i know has a gate to it. So the question is how i get to W.Foothills and than where is the gate to Frostgorge in that zone?
By the way what could be the reason that these zones are so scattered w/o any logic?
Some would come in mathematical sucsession like 10-20-30 but others are bordered like Frostgorge(70-80) by 1-15 and 15-25 and 40-45.
The other thing i am wondering why are these gates so hard to find?
Look i am not criticizing the game i liked it so far i am dealing with the difficulties just
like the rest. Maybe there are good reasons. I am just asking some questions.
Anyway please help me finding my way to W. Foothills/Frostgorge. I am presently in Straits of Devastation.

that is what i wwas thinking but how you get there. That part of the map is closed to me/blurred out. How i get there? There are other regions on the map that i was trying to get to with no info on any pathways. Wiki has some information on which zone is connected to which one but you have to find needle in the hay sack to find the cave or gate etc that takes you there. So how you get to those dongeons on the map?
More precisely how you get to the one in Ascalon?

Very simple question:
How you start playing in the dungeons?
There are no guides for the basics like how you get there and how you start?
At lvl 62 i have 2 emails inviting me to go play dungeons and shows me the locations on the map(for like 3 secs) but no guides how to get there , who to cantact or anything else like how to form a team and how many need for team etc.
The game realy needs some guides or information about where you find informations.
Right now that is all i would like to find out. How you get to play dungeons after you get the email and how you get there?

Ok. So maybe my set up is not right? I enter /map and Map: comes on. Than i enter
my text:Hello everyone can you read this? But no answer and no chatter shows up
on the top. The only time i see chatter when i am in Say and there is some ocasional
chat on that channel.
So is it my server just very silent or i am missing something? It drives me crazy i can’t
find any communication and i can’t tell anybody about it. Trap22.

I am not very experienced in MMPOGs but i played a few for the last 4 years.
LOTRO was the longest one for 2 years.
I am at lvl 48 and i feel really alone in this game not because there are not enaugh
players around or not enaugh group events. In the contrary this game is realy was created mostly for group action and not in a very forcefull way but communication
between players is really spars. I use SAY most of the time for a few words but that is not realy ment for chat.
In other games there are 1 or 2 chat channels where you can follow what players are
talking about(i know sometimes it’s sealy) and you can ask questions,answer questions
form groups find friends discuss some aspects of the game etc.
Here that is missing(or i am a dummy and did not find it on the chat channels).
The Map channel should be one that would able players in the same zone talk to each other but i could never contact anybody there. Is it my Chat set up wrong or
just everybody in this game is new to chatting and they only use Say to communicate?
Even on the guild channel i noticed only 2 players knew that you have to turn chat on to be able to use the guild channel and they are never on so i still could’t talk with anybody either.
How you guys communicate? I am sure SAY is not ment for that.

I have so many questions i don’t know where to start.
here are 3:
1.Can you switch between game screen and desktop and how?

2.Is there any way to get advice in game from other players other
than SAY? Other games have advice channels or zone chat.

3.I was invited in 2 guilds so far which i accepted but i was not able to
use guild chat because “you are not a a member of a guil”. On the guild
pannel i could see the other members but i could not communicate with them.
What’srong with my set up?
I have more but these 3 are essential for good game play.

1.I have a chat problem: getting this message about messaging being blocked due
ecssesive messaging. I can only use Say.
Where you find the zone for lvl 25+ ?
I am stuck in this zone for 15-25(asura).
Everybody has this problem of not being able to log in WvW?
I got in once and it is very confusing /nobody seems to communicate or organise
anything. Like a bunch a soldiers who cant speak to each other.
It is terible the information exchange in this game. There should be a channel where
players can communicate and can get advice to each other.
Or maybe my chat channels are glitched?
I taught this game is about group playing but than how you comunicate if there is only a local limited range channel?
