per-game configs seem easy with CCC, tho i don’t use them

i’ll admit i don’t like the lack of native control panel scaling on AMD, tho (e.g. 2880×1440 on a 1440×900 monitor for deliciously large screenshots), but that’s all i can think of.

does it seem like most people don’t have issues (or have fixed them) with a 280X?

i bought an account to test with a 7790 (same architecture as the R5/7/9 series) but haven’t had a chance to run it for very long…

I would go with the NVidia. I’ve seen too many graphical glitches with AMD’s latest cards and though I like AMD’s prices a LOT better, I’d rather not have the issues that others are having. Check the tech support forum here and you will see what issues I am talking about.

you’ve personally seen graphical issues? or just others’ screenshots?

i’ve done a brief scouring of some threads elsewhere where odd lines/polygonal shapes were fixed by a certain driver version. i’ll have to do more reading after work, tho.
