~1 the infamous video was not made by mend it was made by me so if you are upset about it and want to talk /w me I will explain it to you.

~1 1/2 the video was posted on the forums by an HoD member not a mend member. If they had not have found it and then posted it none of you would know about it. (good job finding it btw w/e posted)

1) You made it but as a part of the leadership of Mend, you are suppose to be an effective role model ( a representative of your guild) to the HoD Community.
2)An HoD member did post the video however you did have intent to show it publicly ( to a few members or the whole server I don’t now). I heard your convo on TS3 on how you were making one last farewell to HoD video that was to be accompanied by the song War Pigs by Black Sabbath (as you were recording your own version of it). That creepy immature video was playing that music. I can only assume that was your last farewell video.

You are a very skilled commander and mesmer who had a lot of respect ( and still do) from the HoD community (most people loved to follow you in WvW because they knew you knew what you were doing). You took the dirt road instead of the high ground that you should have taken during all the insult throwing of some of the HoD members. That was a mistake.

I know it is hard for you Geist (and for Flappy) but you need to just ignore the pokes at Mend from HoD members (including my own little poke). Making another video “for our entertainment” would only give some of the forum instigators the fuel they need to troll you more.

Flappy needs to lay off the insulting whispers to members too (yes we have a screenshot)

Just ignore HoD and have a fun matchup. (I know i’ve had fun this week)

Not really when they bandwagoned there in the first place 2 weeks before leagues were supposed to start. I do wish you guys luck in your rebuilding, though. I’m sure it was a huge blow to the IoJ community.

Now now Nathan, the shots are not directed to IoJ but to a particular group of people in IoJ. Now to this particular group I want to just say congratulations on your 9th place victory this past season.

The irony being of course that we somehow managed to Mend our Ruined server

So I am a very good PVE/Dungeon Thief. I got 48 PR in fotm ( and so many pristine relics to make a man cry) and I have done every dungeon path with my thief several times.

Thieves do get a lot of hate. Guess what? Rightfully so!!!! Most thieves suck at dungeons because they are so use to the idea of zerker thief in wvw/pvp. I personally have zerker armor but my trinkets are more tanky based. This gives me very strong dps and a reasonable tank (16k HP). However, 16k HP is still very low and because of this thieves must know when to dodge/switch weapons more than any other class.

You can melee with D/D… that’s ok but realize that if your hp <50% or if the mobs/boss has huge melee dps you should probably back away and support your group with a SB. A good thief can go from melee back to range several times in a fight and never get downed whilst also providing some high end dps. Furthermore, people tend to hate SB thieves. In single mob encounters, the SB does decent dmg…. not d/d dmg but decent nevertheless. SB is more efficient with grouped up mobs because of how the sb bounces around targets.

Last but not least, thieves are great for niche parts of dungeons. Need a cloak? No problem! I mean thieves make dredge fractal bearable since they make using the control panel easy as well as they are great at soloing the bomb path.

Remember, when you play a thief in a dungeon you better be skilled or YOU WILL get das boot.

Just tried it again post-patch…… still bugged. (kinda figured that was going to be the case)

Too lazy to make a screeny, but alas, that was a challenge.

My summary:

W1Z1: ^&%&* rocks after 1st checkpoint
W1Z2: Easy
W1Z3: Medium
W2Z1: VERY EASY
W2Z2: Meh… not too bad… route is obvious for the most part
W3Z3: The sadistic designers of this level made me have 3 strokes ,2 coronaries and two smashed keyboards because those jumps were hard. Other than that I kinda enjoyed it.

Overall: Ok….. just fix the bugs so i can finish the last achievement for baubles in W2Z3 and I’ll be happy.

Day Five:

I have searched these dangerous mountains for the missing shiny mystical bauble only to find death awaiting me. I pray to the gods (devs) for a sign of whether or not these are the right mountains. I fear the gods have abandoned me and that I may not gain the all powerful 5 achievement points. I wait at the base of mountain with very little food and my bones going cold…. waiting….. waiting…..

Nah I kid, that was Photoshopped and is a clearly fake. So seriously anyone get any luckier with this achievement? I am surprised we haven’t heard anything from the devs.

So we are back to square one with no one able to get this achievement

Glutton for Punishment Z3 bugged since last patch. T_T Note how I have all three King Toad Z-* rewards but only have two of the achievements.

You have to wait till you the timer runs out and you get teleported to the cart destroying bit. You will loot the chest before that but you have to wait out the teleport timer. The achievement will trigger once that timer is gone and you are teleported to the cart bit.

So it is fine.

Wrong. As someone who experienced this bug it is not fine. I did it once… went tot he bonus round and got NO CREDIT for doing it. I re did it and again no credit. Only one the 3rd time did I receive it. I believe you cannot die after the boss is triggered and that you must stay on the boss’s lilypad or the achievement bugs out.

If you got the achievement, then I believe you’re the first in this topic

I only got credit for one of the shops/elite skills in zone 3. i enter each of the three caves and only got one shop creditted

What is flute open room?

I know of torch room, bag room, moto elite skill shop

I did all the shop in your list however I only got credit for 3 shops in 2-3. (I believe I only got credit for the eltie skill and not the shop nearby. Perhaps they count as one)

it has nothing to do with the timer, this bug can occur even when you wait for the timer

I did it a 2nd time… still no achievement. I did a 3rd time and viola it decided to give me the achievement. No idea what caused the difference

You have to wait for timer to finish… HOWEVER, with that said, some people are still bugged and can’t get the achievement even after waiting for timer:

I finished W1Z1 got the first tier done.
I finished W1Z2 got the 2nd tier done

I finished W1Z3 and killed the toad. I continued tot he bonus round and did it. I got the daily chest and was ported to the SAB entrance. However I did not get credit for doing W1Z3.

I have all 3 pieces of the king toad’s items.

Please fix this soul-crushing bug ASAP. I do NOT want to do that all over again and I want to start tribulation mode for world 2.

I’ve been told if you put different types of infusion in the rings then yu can equip them both. Hope that helps
