I haven’t hit 80 yet, so that keeps me coming back, plus I want to get 100% on map completion.

It most certainly isn’t the PVP system that will keep me returning sadly.

I am a soldier start to finish. I am a member of Blood Legion and will always follow the teachings of said legion.

Negotiations are for politicians and businessmen. I am a weapon to be used against our enemies, and to help aid our allies. If you challenge me to a duel, I will fight with honor, but if you are enemy to my people, I will fight to win.

My warband is my family, and if you mess with my family I will hunt you down.

If I am your ally, you will find me to be loyal, honorable, and highly disciplined to our cause.
If I am your enemy, you will find me armed, dangerous, and highly lethal. May the gods have mercy on you, because I will not.

The Norn running animation is also slow…I think it’s designed that way simply because they’re bigger characters. Of course, we could have a foot race between all five races to confirm!

Exactly right.

The speed among all races has been normalized, so the Asura run fast as hell to cover the same distance we Char do in a single bound, but we have to only cover that small distance so we aren’t faster than our diminutive friends.

If they speed up the animation, they either have to increase our speed, which they won’t do, or the animation will look wrong. So what people are really asking is that they reanimate all our locomotive animations which also will not happen.

I am fine with our animations myself. I love how we use our arms and legs to run.

I use sword and board with a rifle as an opener and have no problems. Though I only roll PVE. The PVP system in this game is severely lacking for me and gets painfully boring after only a few minutes.

Though for PVE questing and such, swords work just fine.

I think I’m the only warrior I ever see running sword and board instead of greatsword.
