So with the Queen’s Gauntlet content under way again plenty of different classes will be trying their hand against the bosses. What would you guys say the best warrior weapons would be against Liadri? I’ve found sword/warhorn + longbow to be quite effective. Opinions?

Okay so I’ve also tried the VPN solution and it does offer a fix. However, I don’t feel it is right that we have to buy a VPN service to play a game that was fine for the majority of us up until the past few weeks. This is Anets problem and it’s sad that they are making no effort to keep us updated on what they’re doing to fix it.

…what will anet do about everyone who isn’t on BT and having the exact same issue?

Im sorry but considering that I can play any other MMO/online game perfectly fine without it having latency issues apart from GW2 as of a few weeks ago is far too suspect for it to be just my ISP.

Here’s my Network Diag. Very frustrating as I’m going to be missing out on Guild Commendations and Pristine Relics through no fault of my own.

Im with the same ISP as you (Studentcom) and contacted gw2 support, I was told to get in touch with my ISP regarding this issue. The ISP said they do not throttle at any time, nor are any of the ports that gw2 uses blocked. So I assume it has something to do with anet servers/network.

Just like to say that this isnt only happening to people on BT. I’m currently on Cablecom and use TalkTalk also and am suffering the same issue. From various other posts I’ve gathered that people on virgin are also having issues. So I very much doubt it is my ISP.

Yep, I’ve been getting the same issue thats getting worse and worse. I havent been able to play since 12noon today and Its still unplayable. Doesnt look like anet care enough to even try sort anything.

So obviously this is being caused by a Ddos attack, but how long do you think it will be before we see some form of fix, or even acknowledgement? I’ve been very patient I’d like to think, but it would be nice to see anet inform us of something.

The only advice GW2 support seem to offer is contact my ISP. Which is clearly not the issue as it is only gw2 that is lagging and dc’ing. The lag has been getting progressively worse and now I cant load into maps. Fix it Anet.

So you know, maybe its about time Anet could shed some light as to why some of us have a stupid delay time on our abilities and are lagging like crazy… Instead of just carrying on like nothing has happened.

Im having lag issues on my account, and I have tried logging in as my friend and his account runs perfectly on the same PC. It only seems to be affecting my account which is what is confusing me.

Sadly the ‘play with people from your own server’ fix is quite limited when you’re on Fissure of Woe and you can see the tumbleweed in Lions Arch.

Perhaps a compensation of say around 400gems would be adequate to make up for the lost gold I could have earned farming dungeons in the past two days? Sounds fair to me!

just gonna add my name to the list, it kicks me every time i try to get to PvE or enter a dungeon. Surprised there has yet to be a patch released to fix this.

there’s already a few threads about crashes, but yesterday whilst doing the ruined city of arah, i experienced the most unholiest consistent 7 consecutive crashes on my pc! (we finished the dungeon after about 4 hours of pain) Im running a amd radeon 7950 gpu, and an amd fx 8320 cpu.. Im told that this is down to the drivers on my gpu not being perfect for the game, if so.. could anyone who also has a 7950 suggest “working” amd drivers

I’m fairly new to the necro, and I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice for a cond dmg staff build?

I’ve hit level 80 on my engi and am playing around with trying to build a high dps rifle/ft build. Could any of you suggest some good builds for this style?

I’ve got a warrior character as well, and I’ve tried the rifle on both, and I have to say Im disappointed with the engineer rifle abilities. The warrior rifle abilities seem so much more practical, as if they were actually being used for the rifles true intentions. Rather than a less effective shotgun.

So I’ve been playing my engineer for a week now and I’ve decided that I like the dual pistol/elixir play style. Could anyone suggest a good high dps build for this? I don’t mind swapping some elixirs for grenade kits/ft if it would increase my dps all suggestions welcome!

Im mainly going to be playing PvE, would it be a good idea to combine a pistol with a shield or just stick with two pistols for more dps?

I’ve been playing warrior and now I’m looking to build an engineer class. I’d like to make use of pistols and flamethrower. Can anyone suggest any build tips? Thanks

Ive been trying midnight yew and that does look pretty similar in some lights, im quite satisfied with the midnight yew and pottery colors so far but i dont have all the armor pieces I want to test the colours properly yet. Old penny seemed a bit bright, Im finding it hard to find a colour that fits as well as pottery does at the moment!

Yeah, I guess the lighting does have a big impact on the way the colours come out I’ve noticed. I tried comparing next to the armor smith npc who has identical colours and it does look like steel is the darker colour. Still previewing similar colours to pottery but that’s been the closest I’ve had If I’m honest. As for the cloth colours, I haven’t found a better match than midnight red /:

I tried tkittenony and pottery combination and it was pretty close. I think steel could be the darker colour used. When I tried pottery it seemed a bit lighter than the npc’s. I could be wrong, but I never thought the dyes used would be starter dyes! :L

I can definitely say that the cloth is midnight red having just tried it out for myself! now I need to trace the other two, having previewed i dont think its midnight rust, one could be midnight olive, but still no idea as to what the brighter orange like colour is

Yeah, I think the chest and back could be caramel actually from personal trial and error but I might be wrong! Probably going to have to start saving for the dyes once I’ve bought all the armor as it gets quite costly!

Im fairly new to the forums and im wondering if anyone can help me name the dyes the tier 2 cultural weaponsmith at the black citadel wears? Ive attached a pic if it helps
