So this is the new era of gaming huh? Promise your players a major opportunity for end game progression, then release it “bugged”. Problem identified first week into launch and we were told “hopefully it should be fixed soon”. Well, Halloween removal patch and what comes with it. Gem store BS. More ways to give Anet $$. While what I already paid for, continues to be “bugged”. Then you release a statement of looking forward to the end of 2015 and write that “at this time bug patches and balancing will be released in less frequent, limited bundles”… This is a very sad way to get people to “want” to play your game for a long period of time. Promise people something you know they want, but then not give it to them. Dangle it right in front of their nose, 14/15 completion, let them get a taste… just sick. It’s obvious what’s going on now, if you’re still backing Anet up on this, wake up. I’m excited to see the chunk of players fade when big name games (that work and provide what was advertised) get released these upcoming months. Honestly, that is probably Anet’s plan. Let casual players fade then allow dedicated players the opportunities that were originally promised. When you already got the $$, you can do whatever and take however long you wish. Should have saved my money… Thanks Anet, really appreciate your customer slavery
Honestly, this is hilarious.
Look guys, they have identified the problem and they are working on it. Go do something else until it is fixed. The amount of material in this game to keep us entertained until they fix these collections quest will quench your thirst for needing something productive to do with your life. Do I wish it was fixed by now? Yes. Am I working towards other legendaries, masteries, collections, etc; waiting patiently for it to be fixed? You bet.
Just sit tight and be calm. Getting worked up doesn’t help anyone and really isn’t want developers need right now.I find it hilarious how people are alright with living like sheep. They have my money, where is my product.. or any information other than “We are aware of problems” ?

This is just poor customer support, and something ANet can pull off with just because they already have a large user base.
I’m starting to wonder if it’s not ready yet. It’s sure easy to put loads of pay content on Gem store yet when it comes time to something already paid for POOR service!
Putting content in the gem store isn’t remotely the same as fixing bugs in the game itself. Have some patience. They’ll fix it. There are plenty of other things to do in Heart of Thorns in the meantime.
ArenaNet’s service for Heart of Thorns has been incredibly good so far. The speed at which they have been fixing bugs is impressive and so is the smoothness of the launch.
While I agree that launch has been very smooth for MMO standards, and most of the issues are in relatively minor issues, one can’t help but wonder why such simple issues that impact a large number of users are taking long to fix.
Modniir for instance, is it so hard to remove his item from the collection? Fix it properly? Any of the other 30 possible fixes? And yet we see a ton of people complaining about it here and in the maps.
Anyways, great expansion release, but could realistically be better.
