Lag seems to be gone since 1pm this afternoon. The traceroute is clean through all the hops. I hope it’s the same for everybody!
The lag issues really started for me april 26 around 2pm GMT. Skills don’t activate, everything rubber band like crazy and after a couple of minutes the game disconnects.
I did a gw2.exe -diag and without much doubt I’d like to say now that the problem is on Anet’s side :
Hop RTT Lost/Sent = Pct Lost/Sent = Pct Address
14 —- 25/ 25 =100% 22/ 25 = 88% 206-127-157-86.plaync.com [206.127.157.86]
I hope it gets fixed soon, the game is totally unplayable at the moment.
Additionally forum-en.guildwars2.com and guildwars2.com are also extremely slow to load in every browser and through any ISP I could try. FYI there are several timeouts on the last hops of the traceroute to these URLs and a ping timeouts 50% of the time.
I guess it’s time to play something else.

The patch notes claim that the armor now should work properly with phantasms.
Cannot comfirm as I’m not mesmer, but just so you guys know.I’m very interested to hear if this fix also fixes the long standing issue of Radiant armor causing issues with phantasms, as well as Radiant armor with Juggernaut and Radiant armor with stealth. Really, it seems that if an issue needs to be fixed then we need to find some way to show that it causes and issue with LS (slayer potions) or the Gem Store (armor particle effects and phantasms) for it to get fixed. If it also fixed the Radiant armor issues, then 8+ months of reports did nothing because it wasn’t related to the gem store (achievement armor, legendary weapons), and it took a gem store armor with particles experiencing the problem to get it fixed within a day or two because it could potentially hurt gem sales. This behavior saddens me.
I’ve just tried iZerker with my mesmer in Zodiac Armor, it seems fixed. The glitch with decoy is still there though.
