• Core – Obviously the core of the guild, members who raid most nights and for the most part, only belong to III.
• Casual – For those seeking a more relaxed demand from the guild. Belong to a PvE guild or can’t raid that often, this rank is ideal.

III Legio’s history goes back many years, some of our members have played together in our guild for 7 years and counting. We’re established, having had the same leadership from our first creation. We enjoy a well respected reputation on AG. We don’t have ‘elitist’ players, we don’t ‘do’ drama and we retain our members well. Our guild is close-knit and have a good sense of friendship running throughout our members. We’ll go out of our way to include new members and especially if you go out of your way to get involved with us!

We do our best to involve our members in every game aspect and try to help each other wherever and whenever we can. After all, happy members make a happy guild.

We could say all the usual stuff like “Hardcore”, “Serious Casual”, “Fun and friendly” etc etc etc. It’s the same old stuff, just phrases guilds use, pitching for you to join them.

Well that’s not us.

If you act like a spoiled brat – we’ll not accept your application. If you only care about the pixels or never speak on TS or in guild chat, we’ll not accept your application. If you don’t know how to behave and conduct yourself in an adult manner, we’ll not accept your application. You see? We’re Looking for colourful additions to our family, people who make logging into this game about more than just ‘phat lewt, yo!’.

First apologies if someone might have already mentioned this,
But a alternate suggestion to maybe alleviate some issues is to penalize the zerg mentality, which will in some way give the perception of a better balance. This may not so much help underpopulated servers as a whole, but it can maybe help other places.

Basically, when a group of players reach a certain number in a area (say 1,200m) debuff them, make it so running large zone blobs against smaller populated servers isn’t as viable.
So say a server runs a 40 man zerg against a server who has 2 × 20 man groups, the 40 man group receives a small debuff of say 3% damage decrease, 3% health… whatever.. not being specific but a general idea, the more guys the more it scales upwards.
This can help in a way where servers with no large regular groups now have a fighting chance.

[III] is a WvW focused guild looking for people that enjoy WvW as a much as we do, and love working in a fun but focused team of players.
We look to constantly evolve and push our limits as a way of increasing effectiveness and grow a as guild.

What we do:

• WvW: We raid 4 times a week, either as a large guild raid or small scale groups.
• PvE: While we do not schedule PvE Events, we do run dungeons when asked for, and we do guild missions on a weekly basis.

What we look for in members:
Like our existing members we look for mature, active, fun loving individuals ready to play as part of a team. Being able to adapt, learn, and share your experiences are all part of being in [III].

Guild requirements:

• 18+ years of age.
• Be able to use TS3.
• Use our website
• A good command of English is essential.
• We do not require 100% Rep, but do ask you fly the [III] flag when in our raids.
• While we do not require 100% attendance we ask that our members show up as much as possible. How else can we improve as a team?

Champions Of The Gods is a WvW-orientated guild who focus on organized, skill-based WvW rather than being part of the zerg.

COTG has an illustrious history in MMOs. We started in Vanguard, and progressed to Warhammer Online, through Rift and SW:TOR, but we now call Guild Wars 2 home, long term. Our main aim is to have fun, while focusing on becoming a feared and revered force in WvW, and building strong relationships both amongst our own members and other guilds.

Our members are mature and open-minded, with a range of a nationalities (mostly European) and ages. We have a good, friendly core group of veteran gamers who bring experience from years of PvPing in a wide range of games. As members of COTG we are aware of the guild we represent and conduct ourselves as such to those in and out of the guild.

Before joining we ask that you understand and accept the following:

Activity: While we are a “casual” guild, we like our members to be active when they can be, as being online and part of the group is the only way to improve together.

Communication: for best results in WvW communication is key. As a guild we make use of Ventrilo and forums, and we expect our members to make use of both. With this in mind we expect our members are able to understand, speak and write English.

Criticism: If we notice someone doing something wrong, we tell them. This is done in the most constructive way possible. If you are not able to take criticism then we are not the right place for you. We want to improve ourselves and one of the ways to do it is to be able to take criticism and retain a good mood.

Personality: You must have a good sense of humour and not take offence easily. We ask that our members are mature and open-minded people, who still enjoy themselves even when on a losing streak – not that we intend to have too many of those…

What we expect from you:
If you can accept the above, and can see yourself spending several hours a week with people like us, then we only ask a few more things:

• Most of us are located in the EU, and prefer it if new members are also.
• Be able to play 14+ hours a week (2+ a day) between 1700 – 2200 GMT (or more if you like!)
• We expect you to be able to understand and speak English
• That you have Ventrilo installed and setup ready to use.
• A microphone! While we respect that some people do not talk a lot, being able to tell us we are walking into a trap, or that you’re dead, is advantageous.
• To put in effort and strive to improve yourself and your team.
• To use our forums. Some information is posted on the forums rather than distributed In Game, So being able and willing to check our forums is a must.

What we give you:
Other than a good time and some laughs, you can expect us to provide a friendly atmosphere and a place to improve your game-play/team-play through activities and advice.
We provide WvW teams most weekdays, and on weekends we provide some PvE content (Dungeons or Events) to get your PvE fix.
