Lol, engineer is fine at the highest level. Which is where I believe the game should be balanced.

I’m an engi player who also plays thief on occasion and can defeat decent engineers in duels, learn how they function and play better. People love to complain instead of adjusting their playstyle. You should not waste your time dueling an engi as a thief anyway it isn’t worth it.

Does the lag only happen while you’re in a PvP map? No, it happens in WvW and Lion’s Arch as well.

Does it also occur in the PvP lobby? Yes.

Other maps? Yes.

How long does the lag spike last? 5-20 seconds.

Does it ever clear up? Yes but the game is unplayable.

Of your last 5 GW2 play sessions, in how many of them did you experience lag? All of them.

Are there specific times of day when do or you don’t experience lag? Always.

When do you remember first experiencing lag of this severity in GW2? Around August 23.

Do you also experience lag playing other games? No I do not, only GW2.

NCsoft games like Wildstar? I do not play other NCsoft games.

Do you live in NA or EU? NA.

Are you playing on NA or EU servers? Both, but mainly playing on EU. Getting the same lag on both servers.

Was your account ORIGINALLY created on NA or EU? NA.

The upcoming PvP tournaments like ToG will be amazing with this lag. I hope this information can help you but I don’t see you going anywhere with this thread, I heard you’re using the same servers as 10years ago for the first Guild Wars game just get new servers already. if not then… RIP.
