Bought the princess wand for my guardian too, along with the slingshot for my ranger. My only concerns are that you can hardly see the slingshot on Asuras. It almost looks as if I have no weapon equipped on the poor little guy. :P
Boy will that ever be confusing in WvW…

Lol, it probably doesn’t help that my armor is closely coloured to the slingshot. :P It’s so teeny tiny. xD
i.love my slingshot on my asura. it was the weapon i was saving up for, and as my luck would have it, the thing was inside the chest of the holiday dungeon. the size is perfect, because my little thief looks and feels more authentic with mischief in mind. plus the launching sound is awesome! used it in w3 and had a blast….litterally, the #2 skill is so hilarious with a slingshot, plus the skills make more sense = #3 jumping back and hitting them with a cripple…my only desire would be that u would launch a pellet and not an arrow…..
day 2 of wintersday is upon us all. the 2nd stop of Tixx’s airship is coming to a close and soon it will launch off and away to it’s third location, bringing cheer to all.
but yet to one race was this promise of gifts a lie. Let’s go back to day 1, shall we? the airship stopped in The Grove, and why shouldn’t it? with the sylvari being the newest race, of course it would be Tixx’s first stop! so races one and all raced see the magnificence of the airship with toys and gifts for everyone. but there are some races not yet recognized by all, tho to some they are just shy of their moment. the skritt are one of these races. tho there are such a few, within the races like the sylvari and asuran, that the development of this race is a fascinating one.
so upon that day of Tixx’s arrival, hearing promises of gifts and cheer did the skritt come. with knack for getting into and past everything, they made their way right into the airship and started doing what they do best: getting into everything. skritt do not understand technology, but all things shiny and glowing are held as treasures true and true. the skritt began mucking about all through the airship, causing havoc to Tixx’s machines, to even Toxx itself! presents became unstable, toys became violent, and the defenses started malfunctioning. the skritt had caused quite a bit of mischief, and something needed to happen.
Day 2 was the airship’s arrival to Divinity’s Reach. All where excited to see what new wonders Tixx had in store. and this adventurer was ready to head into the wonder that was Tixx’s airship. what an excite this would be indeed. tho upon entry, there was an eerie calm about the inside…
..off in the distance were giant packages trumping through forest and village, and the carriers did not look like the mechanized units tasked with this program. no, they were not but the skritt, easily snatching the gifts without notice as the tiny golems continued pounding keys behind screens. and through the skritts’ ongoing rampage within the airship, little dolls started escaping without being properly painted. yet who else is running around with a paint-gun? and pointing my paint-gun at a duo i shot. and then the unthinkable happened…..the skritt cried and wept…turning into a red mechanized doll with a small voice saying “…we were lied to.”
oh skritt…why u? i cannot tell you how hard it is to see this happening. sure fight the skritt off when they are invading with the mind like an ant. they put up quite a fight. but to lie and turn them into toys? for-shame..i hang my head low with disgust and morn the ongoing injustice of the skritt

Lol. I wish I was there. I usually go to WvW whenever I see someone post that we need people on certain map. But seriously we’re losing a lot of commanders lately, I haven’t seen Voxis, Shug Knight and others that used to be active commanders.
HuG commanders switch out between earlywood, shugknight, and (our newest and most proud) Ajax the Fierce.
