Guild Wars 2

The trinkets seem to be the biggest problem right now because everything comes with toughness. The magi rings are ridiculous to get cause you have to complete 2 collections of dungeon equip. I have only done VG once so I’m low on magnetite shards.

I wanted to switch to magi/clerics on Druid and slap as much healing as possible. Is this useful for 75+ fractals and raids? I know the DPS is going to be pretty lackluster but I feel like the amount of utility makes up for it. Is this frowned upon or no?

I use elites with my middle mouse button and was wondering if it was possible to lock the zoom option.

Need more wrist training then. I can recommend some but one should be obvious, basically alternate between both hands.

Okay, didn’t expect the thread to blow up but good read over the discussion between Marauders vs Zerk. As for now I have no trouble surviving, I just use invigorating precision if I’m in a group with no healing. Can burst heal and do damage with p/p after I disengage and then jump into the fight. Taking advantage of smokescreen field stealth also helped.

I went mainly with full marauders armor thinking that since I was new to the class, the extra HP would be nice and then eventually switch to zerk when I’m used to it but I’m probably going to stick with it for now since the general consesus is the dmg gain is very minimal. I’d rather stay alive than be dead and lower DPS for myself and my team mates reviving me. Also, not bad in WvW and DS meta that has random AoE everywhere and leaves me with 3-4k health if I get hit.

Thanks for the reply, MadRabbit. Always informative stuff. And yeah, I’ve been pretty much using weakening strikes only and save vault to disengage or engage in high level fractals. I’m gonna try p/p instead of SB just when I have no choice but to range. Right now I’m all slots ascended with marauders armor and rest zerker. Went with marauders just to get used to Daredevil and then will eventually switch.

So I’m pretty new to daredevil and it seems like one of the classes that you need to have good awareness and learn your enemies better, which I didn’t do when I started playing the game because I started out as Reaper and everything felt faceroll with insane tankiness and that just spoiled me.

Now as a Daredevil, I’m hitting three times harder than my Reaper and always constantly pulling aggro and keeping, but it’s not a big deal until I’m in fractal group with no utility or healing. I end up blowing all my evades/initiative. In this case do I take invigorating strikes and sacrifice damage? Do I disengage, stealth and re engage? Any tips would be appreciated.

Also, maybe I’m not doing it right, do you guys use staff blind skill every now and then between rotations? I just rely on smokescreen and evades most of the time.

Do you guys use vault in your rotation or just to position yourself/gap close/evade (Basically utility with damage). I’m new to Daredevil and loving it, but using vault seems to crap on my initiative pretty fast compared to weakening strike. Also, can you evade using weakening strike? Never really noticed it.

I am having this too right now, starting tonight but noticed some skill delays yesterday as well. Not sure what’s causing it because my internet is fine.

Reaper does pretty good in champion fractals (Only have experience with the dailies). Personally I run Valkyrie armor with Berserker weapon and trinkets. With the added vitality, large defensive mist potion and rise, you can just facetank Mossman without moving. Also you still hit 100% crit if you use Valkyries with decimate defenses and food.

Viper is the next set I’m working on just to finish up to 100 with condi build
