Really? Are runes that expensive? If I don’t use WvW gear, what would you advise?

I went to the WvW merchant, and I had over 2,000 tokens, which was a pretty big surprise. So, I think that’s the route I’m going to go.

And if I don’t like how it looks, I can just use transmutation points, right?

I have another, very basic, armor question. After looking at the wiki, it seems like as long as I get the right prefix, the rest is just for looks. In other words, exotics from the dungeon and exotics from crafting are the same. Is that true?

I’m trying to find the cheapest and quickest way to get good armor.

I’m don’t know if there is a good answer for this question, but if you were in my shoes (very few traits, not a lot of money, no clue what build you were ultimately going to go with), what set do you think you would go with first?

I’ve looked into armor a bit, and it looks like I need to be aiming for exotics. I’m honestly not sure exactly what that means but hopefully the wiki will help out. Does that sound right?

Also, I like to change my build a lot since I’m still earning traits (don’t get me started on that), and like to play PvE, PvP, and WvW. Is there a general set that I could use that would do well in all of these aspects of the game? Berserker seems to come up a lot, but I’m not sure if that’s just for PvE or not.

Hi, I’ve been playing since April but have yet to run a dungeon.

I used to play WoW, and I really loved the dungeon finder tool. So, I guess my first question is if there is anything like that or is it more old school PUG style?

Second, how forgiving are the dungeons for new people? Again, in WoW, I always felt comfortable as a DPS and sometimes healing and tanking, but this game is so different, I’m wondering if not knowing the mechanics of the dungeon will get people killed.
