And yes. I’m camping the thread for a fix. I’m a member of a relatively large guild on TC that had a meeting scheduled today that will have to be cancelled without a fix. By all means, please fall back on telling me that we all need to go outside and get lives, when you can fit it in between rabidly punching the refresh button looking for more people to kitten on.
It’s kind of your own guild’s fault for scheduling a meeting on April Fools day when pranks like this on April Fools day aren’t exactly new for Anet. Didn’t anyone in your guild think, “hey, maybe we should schedule this on a different day since it’s pretty likely anet will pull a prank on april 1st?” guess not.

I remember when Blizzard, back when they were actually Blizzard, made a zombie invasion event for Wrath of the Lich King. You had zombies running around turning other players into zombies, and it was really scary and exciting and a great break from pointless pre-expansion monotony and build-up for the next expansion.
And then you had all these….“people”…. on the forums complaining as if the world had come to an end because of this little event…because they couldn’t do their “auction house tasks” or whatever pointless inconsequential PVE tasks for 2-3 hours a day for a few days.
How dead are you people inside, complaining about this fun little April Fool’s event? Really. Most of you just sit in Lion’s Arch in excesivelly pornographic costumes doing god knows what.

On Maguuma. Extreme lag spikes where we are pausing for like 4-6 seconds. Anet please fix this! We are so fed up with this lag, our guild is about to stop playing gw2! We’ve noticed this lag spikes since this week’s update. Really unplayable lag spikes.
yes lag spikes are horrible im on ET and fed up as well freezing up for 4-6 secs as well… its super fun engaging in a fight and freezing up and coming back dead….. plz fix!!!!

I played since launch and up to taking a break from the game I couldn’t even engage them in a fight anymore because I felt bad for them it was pretty unfair( not a great player and wvw perspective). I have died a lot more than usual getting caught by long bow in either trying to escape or in a previous engagement and sure it can be frustrating at times but I think about the guys who been playing ranger up till now and the kitten they dealt with.
On a side note as a thief I’m going after rangers more than ever skirting around groups and they die pretty easy still so to be fair if they catch me without me seeing them I might die, if I see them without them seeing me more than likely they die I think that’s pretty fair.
Oh ya the better rangers i fought never used LB I cant say the build as i never played ranger but they were evasive type builds they were very fun to fight against cant understand why i don’t see more of them?

I believe the blind is unblock able but not the damage
me plz I came back to the game after only playing p/d I burnt all my gear and trying to get good at 2/6/0/0/6. I do so so with d/p in wvw using SA but I have a tough time going trickery..
I know the difference but my performance was so bad overall I couldn’t tell how much of a problem latency was. I can now see the difference in skill lagging vs the pc lag when more than 10 people pop into an area. I still get delays on skills but I simply couldn’t not move when zergs came about as in cannot pan period.
update something between last night and tonight changed and I have to say the issue was more about some form of pc lag.. I had set all my settings low other day and tonight I logged in and for some reason I was getting over 150fps and then I switched back to native and got 80fps and over 30fps in zerg stuff which I have never seen before. I was actually able to see smooth game play in a zerg and actually do something.. all massive stuttering had stopped.. the only thing is I don’t know what the hell changed but its a massive difference and im actually able to play and don’t have to leave deso.. If anyone knows what might have happened I d love to know
my basic system specs are NVidia gtx660
3.2 ghz
12gigs ramthe only thing I did tonight I hadn’t plyed with in awhile was unpark cpu but I swear I had tried it before and not that had these results.. anyhow thx for people who replied so far im gonna go play!
my latency #’s are still over 200-300 but the massive stuttering making wvw unplayable has disappeared and im happy.

I see thx for replies. Network performance shows 2 connections 200-350ms on one 180-200 on the other. from tracert I get high ms from last hops it seems. When I get home ill do another trace to confirm thx
I would assume 100ms or less is possible?
Hi, Im from Canada and currently play on Desolation but lag is a big problem for me. On account that I cannot transfer for free Im looking for advice on whether going back to a NA server would help? thx a lot!
