You are looking at Weaponsmith, Pistols, Rifles and Bows are made by Huntsman

“The hills are alive!! with wiiisdoooom!” You just made my night, sir. Forget this post then, i’m a dum bum, lol.
You do know that there already are crafts that can make Bows, Pistols and Rifles right?
Where? I just checked online, and didn’t find any recipes for guns and bows. It was only melee -shrug- if there is then kitten, point me in the direction!
Okay, so I’m updating my list of things to craft:
We need gunsmithing, bow crafting and drink making – asap!!
So many people use rifles and pistols – esp. engineers – yet no one can craft them!? Not saying we need crafting to create a plenty. But like other weapons – and armor – it’s cheaper and fun to create your own gear.
Bows! – for rangers – it’s like guns for engineers, weapon smithing doesn’t do squat for these classes! Unless your ranged based class is going full melee. Please get some bow crafting in there.
Drink making! There’s more than just burgers and salads to a Norn diet. We need mead and whiskey and wine and hard cider. Instead of paying out of my butt for it, lets craft it. Maybe give them ‘food bonuses.’ Moonshine should be an ultimate focus for black-market trading in Lions Arch.
And above all – please get some new skins! Even if it is crafting based – which would be interesting. What I mean is, why should level 70 chain armor look like the pj armor you were first given at level 0? Why is there only one pirate outfit throughout the entire game. I like looking unique – you like looking unique. Lets get some more customization options and creativity in there. Maybe make crafting more useful by making armor skins specifically accessible by crafting. Like, if I want more culture style armors outside of the karma tiers, I’d have to make it. Can’t buy it anywhere else, has to be made. That doesn’t have to be limited to culture gear. Could be anything. I get that that is what transmutation stones are suppose to help out with, but more would be great. There’s so much flavor and style in this game, lets get pull more of that out.
It sucks how the portal (and blink) was ‘fixed’ in one of the recent patches. Completely screws up the entire purpose and use of those skills. Portal gives an interesting dynamic to the game and a new edge for players when coupled with blink. What’s the point of blinking now – you can only blink 10 feet away – only to an area you can walk to. No use having it clog up your skill selections. And portal – without blink – is okay for a simple boring ability. What was once a strong unique support ability is now a waste of skill space.
I like the idea of infiltration and ‘ninja -like’ combat in WvW. A couple of thieves and Mesmer’s behind enemy lines. Makes it so that it isn’t all about zerg numbers and brute force to win a fight. But cunning and thought. A much more interactive gameplay experience that I have never seen in any other game.
Porting a zerg sucks, and that should have a limit – but don’t water down a class because of a few complications. Perhaps create a counter to it. Something that also gives the defendants an edge. A way to close portals or sweep out invisible people better. Or even a different limitation to the portal. Like – you can only portal those in your group (coupled with) can only change groups every 10mins or something. Then to port a zerg you’d have to have several Mesmers or a lot of patience.
I guess when it comes down to it – it sucks when there’s only 5-10 people in WvW on our side, and 35-45 on their side. You can’t take back a castle with just 5. You can’t toe to toe with a zerg. You can’t do anything. But with an edge like portal – you can. You don’t need to beat down the doors, but sneak in.
I found wines and whiskeys and keys of beer all throughout the WvW trade center. It got me excited with the idea that I would be able to also craft drinks with my Chef profession. But I can’t I can only make food – which makes sense. But it’d be awesome to have an extension to Chef professions or another profession – alchemyish perhaps – that lets the player make drinks. Alcoholic and even potions perhaps. Even if there were just a few recipe addons for like wine and hard cider. Something that could be used as a consumable or component. I have a pirate character, I’d like to make some moonshine! lol
Should make your pet be bigger in passive, not just when it is active. I have norn ranger, I’d like to have a pet that can equally match the awesome height and power as I. Hell, Eir’s wolf is huge, I want a massive pet as well.
I love the world events that they create in this game. Wintersfest was really fun. I saw that the makers talked about that in their recent journal – about expanding on them. It’d be cool to see some non – holiday events. Where I don’t have to wait several months to enjoy more storylines and quirks. If there was an attack on a main city or something. Jormag in Hoelbrak, or undead hitting the human city. Something big – doesn’t always have to be “funny or happy,” but could be heroic or spooky. I love an eerie tale.
Eh, somethin to chew on.
I’d be interesting to have “weapon placement options.” I run around with two axes. When they’re sheathed they float out on the hips of my character – by the tip of the handle – like an awkward tail. I have a barbarian style character. It’d be cool to have the option of “sheathing” them on my character back instead of the hips. Or like with my theif, have the two knives back there. Something to tighten the look. I’m big with the look of my characters :P
But have it so that you would choose to have it sheathed on the back or hip. Or even back hip like tenchu.
I’ve played several games that have the “gem store” idea to it. Where you can go buy tons of customization options for your character. I love the chance to be able to do that. But for GW2 there’s only a few things to buy. Only one armor skin for each armor type. Only head pieces and such. I’d be cool to see much more things that you can get on there – armor skins or which ever. More cultural armor maybe or such.
I was attracted to the norn by their cultural armor. Makes them unique from humans – not just the size. It’d be cool to have armor more befitting to the race. More options for pelted armor. Nordic style. The first nordic looking thing I can get is at lvl 35. Even that isn’t so great looking. But this can go into any of the races. Something to spruce up the lower levels.
I haven’t gotten too far into the game yet, so I’m still new to most of the functions of the game. But what I’ve noticed and heard you can only “transmute” similar items. Like if I’m a heavy armor class and I want to change the look of my armor I can only change stats and look with another heavy armor set. Which is awesome, but I think it’d also be cool to cross looks with other armor sets. Like heavy and medium. There’s a really cool looking Norn Cultural armor for medium classes that i think would be cool to use with my warrior. But I can’t trasmute or wear it. Though everything about it screams nordic warrior.
