Hi, I’m sure this question has been asked in other topics, but it’s really confusionary to try to find the right build.
I’d like to have some ideas on a build for PvE (events and perhaps dungeons too) using pistol/shield (or pistol/pistol, no rifle) with grenade kit and in case elixir gun (I find that very useful for skills 3 and 5 mostly).
I usually play alone so I need a bit of tankiness well, just meaning I could withstand some mobs or veteran without dieing.
What other utilities (grenade kit is a must)? Elite I use supply crate (but I rarely use that), because I can’t see any usefulness in other Engineer elites.
Healing I use Med kit (healing with F1 seems to me the best Eng. healing skill) but I could use turret too.
I am not sure about what traits put, I think condition damage with pistol, but grenades seems better with critical and power, and reading it seems to me that power is very useful for pistols too.
Thanks in advance for any good advice / build.
Look at conversion rate real money – gold in game from Arenanet.
Look at most goldseller websites and see they sell golds way cheaper.
People will buy golds from goldsellers and not gems from Arenanet.
Goldsellers have moneys to buy new accounts or ways (user/pass) to steal accounts to use as bots.
If Arenanet will lower the price of gems from shop to a lower price than goldsellers, there will be less bots. But they are greedy…
The only complain I make about the ascent into madness boss fight is that the Mad King should do "mad king says… " jokes during fight, now it’s simply a dps fight with no real strategy, even the scarecrow with fear that can send you down the border and die, it’s only an annoiance (resurrect to waypoint, go back to fight). Instead, during the fight (not only at start, like now), the Mad King should do “Mad King says…” joke, all the party should stop and do the emote, if you don’t do it, you are dead and out of istance.
The other parts of the event, specially the Labyrinth and the 2 pvp mini games, are really nice and well implemented.
Time will tell to see how the game will do. As a Buy to Play model, I see this game doing well and growing in the future. It will likely experience hot and cold periods where people will flip flop between GW2 and a 2nd MMO that has a more “traditional” level cap scene. However I really don’t think that this will be a major obstacle for GW2.
Perhaps it will grow in content, but I doubt it will grow in player base. Not having a subscription fee and without population data from ArenaNet, it’s difficult to see if people in game are logging less. With the first paid expansion we will see the real population, I think will be a lot lower than the number of buyers of the game…
