Anet should’ve just added the Ritualist instead of this buggy, broken, boring, lackluster class. Don’t get me wrong I played the rev a lot at first. I even got map completion with my rev along with completing both HOT and the GW2 core story. I also played a lot of pvp and wvw with my rev, but this class does’t have much utility variations to work with and it’s mechanics quickly became boring to me.

How yould you fix Warriors?

Moving warrior stances into the f1-f5 slots does sound like a nice solution. Maybe those stances could work more like the way the rev’s facets work. When a rev activates a facet he pulses out certain boons to allies and himself, and when he consumes them they perform certain actions. Well a warrior would also be able to consume a certain stance, and in return, he would pulse out a certain warrior banner boon effect to allies and himself.
Maybe for the warriors next elite specialization, they can give him a defiance bar which will allow the warrior to survive much longer in fights and make him a bit tankier. Once the warriors defiance bar is broken it’ll pulse out a crap ton of boons to the warrior and his allies for a good duration. Idk just throwing out wild ideas.

Banner Idea

I agree that banners should be mounted to the warriors back making them mobile and avoiding the chance of some random person running off with your banner while your trying to buff a certain group.

Yeah, I agree some of these changes aren’t reasonable at all like, the 5cd on PT, and the nerf to staff 5.

Wow!!! What is it with these nerfs? So uncalled for. The expansion isn’t a week old yet and already the Rev is getting mad hate. Anet pretty much ruined the only good skills the rev had going for it. Apart from having to deal with energy management, now you have to deal with cd’s too. I guess anet expects the rev to just auto attack his way to victory. The Rev profession was the only reason I bought this expansion. Now if anet nerf’s UA, I’m pretty much just deleting my rev as this profession is starting to seem so lackluster and far less fun to play.

Phase Traversal

I for one think that Phase Traversal is perfectly fine the way it is. I’m glad that there is finally a class that can catch up to those war, ele, thiefs, and mes, who tend to port or run away as soon as they are in trouble. This is the type of qq that broke mallyx in the first place for many rev players. I really hope that the dev’s leave this skill as is.

I also think that mallyx condition damage is extremely weak. I ran a glint/mallyx, mace/axe, condi spec with over 2000 condition damage, and still the condi damage output I was inflicting was very low. I got face rolled by a chronomancer who’s condi damage quickly and easily outpaced my condi damage. I mean I’ve seen my torment do a total of 4 damage several times and that’s with the other person runing away. I don’t know either I’m doing something extremely wrong or mallyx needs some condi damage buffs. Maybe by mixing more confusion damage along with torment might help boost mallyx’s condi output. Here’s hoping that the dev’s can fix mallyx by the time H.O.T. releases.

Okay, I know I’m a little late into this conversation but its only because I just started playing this game about a month and a half ago and I’m loving it so far. Back to the banner issue, I believe that banners should have some sort of mobility option that allows Warriors to equip them onto their backs like a Sashimono banner http://www.samoerai.name/samurai-sashimono-big.jpg . This would help banners to become more viable, because lets face it, battles or encounters are always moving from one direction to another and most of the time your banners get left behind or get picked up by someone else who runs with it completely in the opposite direction thus, denying you and your intended allies any buffs or benefits from it. I mostly pve solo, and having a banner equipped to my back would allow me to entirely benefit from its buffs and continue battling without having to worry about leaving it behind and losing out on it’s benefits. I really hope ANET seriously looks into giving banners a mobility option, this would help make banners a viable options for warriors to incorporate into their builds.
