so ive been wanting to get back into gw2 but everytime i log on i find myself on a deserted server with a small wvw population so i was going to transfer to learn id need to spend 20$ or exchange 60gold for roughly 1800 gems to trans so my question is wtf do ? to some 20$ to transfer is pocket change but being raised as a lower class citizen ive developed a value for pocket change ? idk but yea wtf do ?

Whats the point in letting servers die ? anyone know if arenanet plans on merging servers to make WvW and the game more enjoyable again i dont really have 60$ to throw away so me and my gf can transfer to another server this is kind of rediculous….

well was just playing planetside 2 with all settings high with 30-80 fps stuff like that is leading me to believe this is arena nets side

ok i didnt know latency could do that to your fps though ;( the skill and chat response times are perfectly normal other then the fps

guess its time to sell my guild wars 2 account i dont have the slightest clue on what it could be on my end especially when every other game and application is running normally all i can do is wait for them to undo w.e they did on their end and judging by what ive been reading people havent been able to play since release im not patient enough for that guess its time to go play Tera ;(

i am doing the Diagnostic now and i noticed whenever i do these guild wars 2 advisors and diags that the ‘’tracing network paths’’ takes a really long time compared to the other area’s amd authenticator ?

im running on 6gb ram, ati hd 6850, and an amd 6 core processor i bought 3 weeks ago which ran the game perfectly fine up until last thursday im not going to say the name of the processor because i dont want some kitten with a 600$ processor talkin kitten on how thats my problem when it has actually worked really well for the price of it

i clean my comp with advanced system care pro and reboot everyday before school

latency is actually the only thing unaffected when on guild wars lol

yea i did a full repair and an entire new download and install

see thats the kind of kitten i want to hear im just looking for reassurance that it is not coming from my end because i am going insane taking my piece of kitten apart trying gto figure out the cause off this issue and its going to end with me accidentally breaking my hardware ;(

Ok so as i said a week ago in a different post ever since the weekly maint last thursday i have had 5 fps anywere on the map with th egame running in slow motion with robot sex for sound now before anyone gives advice or opinions i have run this game before that date with 40fps + on highest settings anywhere in the world it is not hardware or driver related i have tried multiple g card and motherboard drivers old and new all other highend games run as they are supposed to with no driver or hardware crashes all loads and tempuratures are completely normal i have repaire and re downloaded the entire game and i have tried on a new OS on a seperate drive on this computer bf3, dishonoured, arma 2, LoL, ApB are all running normal with 40+ fps on highest settings guild wars 2 is the only thing on my computer that refuses to run after running so well since launch any advice or even anyone with same problem is much appreciated i have laso submitted a support ticket to which i was asked to take multiple benchmark and specifications tests which i uploaded and they had agreed i should be getting much higher fps

well looks like im not going to be able to participate in wvw opening night problem is still around check drivers, checked hardware, tried alternate OS compared other game performances wiped all drivers and reinstalled network is perfectly fine so this is 100 % gw2 sided :/

its 1 day later and the problem still isn’t gone my sound crackles really bad and its as if i’m playing in slow motion =( again not a hardware or software problem it just happened out of nowhere

having the same problem just made a post about this had a massive performance loss overnight and there hasnt even been a patch bf3 and dishonoured are running fine too

I normally run this game with 35+ fps with all highest possible settings but overnight something was changed and i now run with >10fps on lowest possible settings i tested other games to check if it was my hardware bf3, dishonoured and shogun 2 are all running perfectly fine at their highest settings so idk what happened with guild wars 2 but please undo ;( also drivers are fine and temperatures are fine
