So I haven’t played for awhile, expected the launcher to have to download some updates you know. Started up and had it download some small update, after downloading it closed and re-opened the launcher. Now it sits at downloading 0% with 0Kbps download speed forever. So I looked in the Guild Wars 2 folder and fond 3 files, the launcher, a .dat file and a .tmp file.
I tried deleting the tmp file thinking it might be corrupt but no success there, so I came to these forums. Tried searching for “wont download” and “cant download” and apparently nobody has posted a topic for cant and one person asking about the game size posted about wont.
So outside of deleting and redownloading 16gb on a slow DSL connection does anyone have any ideas I can try for a fix.
PS Tried using google DNS, disabling antivirus, resetting router/modem…
