Guild Wars 2

This event is still going. It’s been 3 full days at this point that I know of.

The harpy event, which spawns at the location of the Cattlepult in the Diessa Plateau, is permanently active on Sanctum of Rall server. This is preventing players from using the Cattlepult to travel to the Moorwatch Tower vista.

I was having a similar problem to this, however mine was in Lion’s Arch and only when holding 3 mouse buttons simultaneously (i do this a lot. weird fingers).

I was able to solve my own issue by updating my Marvell host controllers. If you are using Sata III you might try that.

My problem:

Any time I hold down left mouse + middle mouse + right mouse for more than 3 seconds, my computer turns off.

This only happens while playing Guild Wars 2.

Steps I have taken:

I have tried using a different mouse, updating the BIOS, formatting my C: drive, finding updated mouse drivers and installing them, and checking Windows Event Viewer after every crash.

None of these things have been helpful at all.

Event Viewer gives me a different error every time. Googling those errors takes me to any number of things from Marvell host controller issues to Internet Explorer crashes (I don’t use IE).

I can provide any additional information anyone might need.

I have been having this same problem. Also only with GW2.

I ran memtest, constantly monitored my cpu temp and kept NvidiaInspector open on my second monitor. Everything hardware wise seems 100% normal.

Turning the graphics options all the way down will delay the crashing by a few hours, but the game will eventually crash anyway, and in some cases my entire computer will restart.
