Guild Wars 2

I currently am doing the daily and monthly on two accounts. I picked the 2nd account up when the game was selling dirt cheap. I am already 3/4 done with the monthly, this month was easy, thank you Anet.

As for the daily, wow, since they did the change each day never seems to be a huge challenge to get out of the way. The randomness of the daily choices is what makes it fun to do, and I did notice some days are a bit easier than others. You have to expect that when they give us changing choices each day.

Last night I did the daily on both accounts in under 45 minutes, very pleasantly surprised. To me I am for the new dailies.

I have 13 level 80’s and one level 54. Working to do every map and storyline on each character. Time is of a premium with so much to do. Game on everyone!

I just noticed as I am playing some achievements are recompleting, even weapon usage ones, but, if as you have said some are seasonal achievements then there is no way to recover them until a year later when the season rolls around again. Plus, without having a picture of each category there is really no way to know what ones were completed and are not now.

After the patch today I noticed I am more than 100+ points less on my achievement points. What really concerns me is this is not the first time it has happened to me after a patch. I believe 3 other patches have done the same thing in the past. So I wanted to raise a red flag and ask:

Why does this happen?
Is there anyway to have the lost achievement points restored for just this last patch?

The problem I see is there is no way to know for sure when you hit the launch button for the game if a patch is present or not, so I would like to ask this:

From here forward is it possible when a patch is present to add some new code to abate the patch temporarily with a popup box, so we can login and take a screenshot of our stats for verification purposes?
