I’ve heard that running it in windowed mode makes it run faster- perhaps that’s something with changing the resolution though. It’s been a while since I properly played GW2 on a laptop. Worth a shot at least

This was actually a great suggestion! I don’t know why it helps but it got me as high as 30 frames in some instances.

At this moment in time I do not have the means to actually get a new computer (build one) which is what I intend to do once I am able, but I would like to atleast manage to get the game to be playable to 20-30 fps in most areas.

As it stands now it is usually around 9-12.

I was wondering if anyone may be familiar with my laptop and might suggest driver solutions and as a last resort, installing additional ram (since larger ram could be added)

I’ve attached the DxDiag file for my laptop. I just want the game to be playable again, even if its just in short bursts.

Agreed. I won’t buy any of these skins since they are only 1 time use.

Yup, i’ve been posting about this armor since release more or less because I noticed it was one of the few non-girly skimpy outfits for male characters. Its ridiculous that most armors for the dudes, especially light (and event medium) involves lots of cloth covering everything (and we are also sick of long coats and skirts. At least I am). I want my dude character to both look cool and be able to show off some skin just as easily (effortlessly) as female characters. Hell, the opposite seems true of female models, its hard to “cover” them than it is to be revealing in any way.

Straight male gaze thing I guess. Whatever. I want this armor put back. There is no reason for it to be missing since it is available in PvP. And there is no PvP purpose or enjoyment for me without Guild Halls and Guild VS Guild battles (things i never got to enjoy much of in the previous games), but seriously, this is “guild wars”. Only warring between guilds is the large ones that have a monopoly on getting legendaries terribly easy somehow and the small ones who are confused as hell hows its possible to even do so with all that is required for them, but thats another matter.

This armor skin is available in PvP under Masquerade (pictured) but it is not available in PvE although there is talk like it once was but had been removed. This tells me that this must be a glitch because there is no reason why this would exist in PvP and not PvE (especially with the lackluster good male PvE light armors that aren’t dresses or not puritanical – not without being incredibly feminine in how they are revealing for the dudes).

ArenaNet has said all skins on NPCs and in PvP will be available to wear across all mode-types (PvP/PvE/TownClothes). Yet there are quiet a few things missing.

If somehow this is in the game and tons of us are overlooking it: point it out to us. Because as far as we know it is gone. And not all of us want to play PvP…..
