Thanks for all your answers. I am fully aware that we can still get to level 80 by doing uneven levels, and I also hope for the Thaumanova release to address this whole issue. I was just hoping to squeeze out an official statement. Btw, as a huge GW fanboy “soon™” would fully satisfactory for me ;-)

Dear ArenaNet,

if I recall correctly, the reason you capped fractals at level 49 was that you never intended people to get so far with the 30 AR that we had at this time. By now, we have access to 55 AR and if the agony scaling continued as it did before the hard cap, we would be able to survive levels 50-59 without problems (with coordinated healing, even higher). So here are my questions:

Q1: Are we able to do levels 50+ already? (I don’t want to find out again by trying.)
Q2: If not, are you considering reopening them, and when will this be?
