The Not Dead Yet Battlefront [SSS] is a small PvX guild in Gate of Madness. We currently have 4 members (leaders) but are looking to expand to 20-30 members. The goal of 20-30 members, we feel, is the optimal number for ensuring an active guild with multiple members on at once, but also small enough to form a tight knit group. Big guilds of 100+ are great for always having some activity in the guild, but sometimes you can feel lost in the pack with so many other players (some of whom you may never speak with).
We welcome all facets of the game. With the all choices GW2 offers in terms of game play, we would be limiting ourselves to focus on only one aspect of the game. Whatever your preferred playstyle is, we just want to help enhance that experience, and we want players who will enhance our game experience, too.
We are a casual/semi-hardcore guild. We’re looking for active members, but we don’t expect you to be on every single day. In the end, this is a game (though a very enjoyable one), and we all have things in our personal lives that take precedence. Our only rule is not to cause problems with people around us, whether in our guild, or random people encountered in the world (except invaders in WvW, grief the hell out of them).
We are from the Eastern Time Zone (GMT – 5:00), and while it would be ideal for everyone to be in the same timezone so we can play together, some of us don’t work normal hours (such as myself). So, time zone is not a requirement.
We use the free voice chat program C3 to communicate, but a headset is not required to join. We also chat through guild chat. We only ask that when we do dungeons, sPvP, or WvW that you have the program open so you can hear us.
We do not have a website, yet. However, a website is in our plans when we start gaining members.
Finally, we are ironing out the details of forming an alliance with another guild. So, even though we’ll be a small guild, we’ll have even more people to play with.
