My fears are, different form your fears. My fears are, that my ranger wont be able to use a bow anymore, because playing it as a non-druid would be blasphemy.

My fears are, that anyone without elite spec will not be accepted generally.

My fears are, that playing anything but elite spec will be bad and that elite spec will be unreasonably op.

But I sincerely hope, that it is not the case and I will still be able to play necromancer as a mage, not greatsword wielding warrior, that I will still be able to play ranger as a hunter, not treehugger and that guardian will still be able being protector with shield, not new marksman replacement.

Preposterous, right?

So as the header says, I am sort of veteran player. I first played GW2 almost 2 years ago and Idid play and am proud owner of original GW with an expansion and all standalones.

Bad luck on me, that I wasnt paying attention and ignore pre purchase option to get free character slot, as my 5 slots are filled and I want be able to play revenant, well without addational purchase that is.

True, it might sound as crying post or rage post and maybe it is a little. After all, man needs his vent (or else we would explode).

Well luckily there always are some workaround. My GF purchased HoT for herself, getting core game for free. She was playing with me before, about year back, on the account of her friend and we had fun. Now she has her new ranger and since she is smarter then me, she fetched cheaper copy of HoT from one of the re-selling sites.

I must admit, I am lucky man. I have a GF who is expert on finding cheaper gmaes on the internet.

While I was always buying games from their original sites, be it WoW, its expands, subs, D3, GW2, Wildstar and so on… she was the one who always snooped around, finding ways to save few buck no matter what she wanted to play or buy.

Since I am now enjoying Wildstar personally with all those cosmic rewards I got and game being also free to play now, I really want to play HoT at some point.

Obviously, I am rusty in GW2 as I realized just today morning when just out of boredom clicking on the launcher that HoT is already out. Then I realized e-mail on my NC directory, that I have a last chance for that character slot… two days ago, so its late now for me.

Oh snap….

I guess I will ask my GF to find me slightly cheaper copy of the expansion and slightly cheaper gems and work out a similar deal for myself. Since I have never done it this way, I felt the urge to tell the world. World of Guild Wars 2 at least.
