OP, this an amazing post! Thank you for sharing. I’m so glad you found a character you can relate to, it’ll help a lot when using the game as an escape from reality. I too use the game as an escape from health problems. Anyway, as someone said earlier, I think Christina should get her own mini Taimi.

I’d save the Norn near the Mists gates. He’s been trying to get in that Sylvari’s guild for almost 2 years and they STILL haven’t accepted him. Poor guy.

Lion’s Arch, now a scenery of burning rubble and smoke, has citizens scared and angry. They quickly gather what they can and leave, some completely abandoning everything. Everything is in ruins and unrecognizable, all except… The Mystic Forge.

Still shining and flowing brightly, The Mystic Forge stands. Scarlet’s Minions are doing all they can to corrupt it, but Zommoros won’t let that happen. He’s fighting them off, turning their powerful weapons into those of a “Fine” rarity, all the while yelling obscenities at them. By this point, Scarlet’s Minions are all getting angry. The Krait are spewing poison on the forge, the Dredge are gnawing on it, and the Aetherblades are tossing grenades on it.

Finally, Zommoros feels it’s time to leave. He successfully distracted the enemies so the citizen’s can run away safely. The Mystic Forge suddenly starts glowing and rumbling, shaking the foundation on which it is built. Suddenly Zommoros gasps and shouts “The slumming Skritt is still in the sewers! I must wait-” ..then a familiar voice shouts “But it’s wonderful! Respectable folks can’t go there, but I want to live there!”

Remembering how annoying it got having to constantly hear that for years, Zommoros no longer cares and decides to go to Vigil Keep (via Waypoint) where he’ll be bound to another magical object. Upon doing this, The Mystic Forge explodes, shooting the bricks it’s made of into many different directions. This causes many copies of Precursor’s to fly all across Tyria, finally starting the long-awaited Precursor Scavenger Hunt.

1. Which legendary are you going for?
I’m going for Incinerator.

2. Do you have any gifts? If so, which one?
I have all except Fortune.

3. Which gift are you working on? And how far have you come on it?
I’m working on Gift of Fortune. Still need ~100+ of each T6 mat (except Ecto’s and Dust), I’ll be done after that.

4. Addition information you want us to know, maybe a picture.
I was luckily able to get the precursor on my third try in the Mystic Forge, so I didn’t have to spend hundreds of gold before getting it. In regards to Gift of Fortune: I wish I would’ve known about T6 farming BEFORE it got nerfed :/

This has me really upset. Now how’s it going to be in WvW?

Thief: gets in range for Cluster Bomb. Has to stand in red circles and dies

2. I have Gift of Mastery, Gift of Metal, Gift of Exploration, and Gift of Baelfire
3. I’m working on Gift of Fortune. Still have a lot of T6 mats to get, but thankfully I already have the 77 clovers. At the same time I’m working on Gift of Incinerator, which all I need for that are the lodestones to make Vial of Liquid Flame.
4. No picture (not in-game atm), but I got my precursor on my 3rd try in the Mystic Forge! I forged 4 of the cheapest lvl 80 rare daggers (Krait something or other, looked like a hook).

It’s closed on SoR now, was just there and I missed it.

Get some PVT armor (even if it’s from Karma vendors in Orr) and run with a zerg for a week. You’ll get a lot more badges than the jp’s will give you. I know you want to be left alone, but the jumping puzzle is where many like to go for 1v1 or just to catch someone off guard for an easy kill.

TL;DR – Zergs = badges. Jumping Puzzles = death traps.

I remember when the Angry Army was in NSP. That was back in my Darkhaven days, good times. You guys at NSP put up a hell of a fight, how have you been lately? (I moved to Blackgate a while ago)

Incinerator’s weapon stats used to be the same as other legendaries, which was either 994 – 1,000 or 1,000 – 1,062. But now it’s 924 – 981.

Hey guys, did the Incinerator (legendary dagger) stats get nerfed? The weapon damage is the same as an Exotic; for example my Molten Daggers from Citadel of Flame. If so, I think I may as well quit farming..

I tried all of the suggestions everyone has said, and I even changed my build a few times, used different weapon combos, etc. Still can’t beat it. I can’t even get past the Risen Abomination at the door.

I’m having the same problems, but the one problem that is REALLY irritating me is the endless respawn of mobs that come with the elite at the door. Constantly causing the NPC’s and myself to die. I can’t even make it inside the tomb :/
