Dungeon Rewards vs Dragon Event Rewards

Hi, i was just playing a bit for fun today and was doing Arah P1, P2, P3 for fun. Some of you may now think i am a bit masochistic because the dungeon seems to be a pain for a lot of people. For me the challenge of beating a tough dungeon is what i like.

I had nice runs in the afternoon and it alltogether took like 5 hours. It was not the fastest run but it was quite nice. In the meanwhile my GF was doing her daily dragons. I am happy for her that she got 11 yellow and one exotic item. While i was occasionally looking at her screen she was chatting and waiting most of the time. The usual dragon fight was around 2-3 minutes.

I would like to see a comparable reward output for dungeons also. To be honest dungeons are much harder that meeting 30 other people on a map, waiting for 15 minutes, activating autoattack and looting after 3 minutes.

The reward system does not respect the difficulty of an encounter. For a dungon you first have to get a group together, help motivation the people after wiping several times, repair costs typical people who just want to boss others around, etc.

What i wanted to state is 30 minutes attacking dragons gets you 6-7 times more reward than fighting through 3 dungeons, managing peoples frustration levels and dealing with difficult boss mechanics.

What is the purpose of doing a dungeon then?
Shouldn’t be the reward at least reasonably similar regarding the time spent and the difficulty?

One boss in dungeons is at least as tough as one of those dragons. why don’t they drop one yellow item each. And other difficult bosses… why don’t they drop an exotic. or let mobs drop more lodestones, etc.

TLDR: Dungeon rewards just suck, better chat and autoattack for gold.
