Guild Wars 2

I was redirected here while asking for some general advice about the game as some of my questions were Guardian specific. Basically I’m a new player and looking to see how viable what I run with as a guardian is. I’ve got full berserker gear, a mix of exotic and ascended. As for traits I run with 6 points in Honor and Virtue each. I put the final 2 points in Valor to pick up strength in numbers. The traits I chose for Honor are superior aria, pure of heart, and battle presence. The traits I chose for Virtues is master of consecrations, indomitable courage, absolute resolution. I chose this because I see a lot of utility in it and it makes my virtues even more helpful when I activate them. Skill wise my 6 is Signet of Resolve and my 7 is always Signet of Judgement. My other slots are usually filled with whatever shout or consecration is applicable to the current fight/boss fight. My elite skill is always Renewed focus. Before I was running or more dps focused build but with my group of friends I found myself unable to throw out stability, reflects, or retaliation as quickly as was needed in boss fights.

So this may end up being a little bit of a wall of text so I will apologize in advance. Anyway, I started playing 2-3 weeks ago and as this is an easy semester for and that was the start of spring break I hit 80 with my first character a Guardian pretty fast. I’ve just started crafting my ascended but I decided I’d hold off until Heart of Thorns comes out to see if there are any major changes. I’m kind of looking for what to do now though. I’ve started dungeons etc. but I just find myself wandering without really knowing what my next objective should be or what I should be working for. Besides that I really want to find someone to talk about Guardians with. I love the class and would love to learn more. Right now I run with full berserker gear and 6 trait points in Honor and Virtues picking up the traits the reduce cool-downs on consecrations and shouts and the traits that buff my virtues (i.e. the one that adds stability to activating virtue of courage or the one that gives the entire party virtue of resolve). I’m wondering how viable running a build that basically turns my guardians into a walking boon dispenser is. Basically, what do I do now and how do I do it? And is being Buffy McBufferson the boon dispensing guardian viable?
