May MMO gamers are older and can’t spend 5 hours a day in game and lose part of the time they have meandering around with a group that often isn’t focused.

I’m that guy. I’m 42 with two young kids and a wife that needs me to be able to drop playing at a moment notice if needed. I can only play for 2-3 hours a day on Saturdays and Sundays.

So, I don’t waste time trying to find a group and don’t want to have to suddenly bail on a group when I have to leave.

Many of us from the EQ1 days are all in the same or similar boat and I think we are a large chunk of MMO players. We aren’t the FPS players of today.

I haven’t tried it yet either and I am level 24……

So can you do three green pieces that I can’t use because of my profession and one blue and get something better?

What happens to the runes/sigil things that are in armor when you find them..do you lose them in the MF or do those being on the armor make the outcome better?

Can you put in 3 boots and a pair of gloves and it works still?

What about 3 axes and a great sword?

Are their recipes that will produce the same thing every time you put x ingredients in?

I have such a small window of time to play each week is why I don’t do alot of experimenting on my own and instead rely on this board for help, so please be patient!

So if I am trying to get my rune back that I put in my armor for example, the better the salvage kit the higher likelihood that I will get it?

I’m level 23 and my pet is still a Juvenile. Do they ever upgrade or do I have to go tame a higher level pet.

Using the bear like one right now, seems to be a good tank for me.

Am I missing this completely or is there no way to play in 1st person view?

Seems to take away from the immersion to be looking at my back all the time and I can’t get a good view of what my target is doing. I hear dodging is important and that there are clues as to when to dodge, but if I can’t see because i see my own back it seems lame.

Jumping puzzles would be easier too if I could see what I am moving onto!

I don’t know how anyone can dodge when there is a Event taking place cause so many people are milling about and make it about impossible to even click target something!

As a Ranger, This click button seems to flip back and forth between two things while in auto attack.

What is it doing?

Some sort of combo?

And speaking of combos….are there combos if you are solo or is it only if you are in the range of other players?

Those stats up in the corner of my Hero tab for Dignity etc.

What do they do? I know the Heart Karma quests can influence them and answering questions certain ways can…but what efffect does it have to have high dignity vs. the other two?

When I auto deposit my collectibles while out in the field, do they become usable while crafting or do I have to move them into my actual bank slots?

Also, how does one identify what things can be used in ‘Discovery’? Are they colored is some way that I am missing or is something in the description the give away? I’ve been having to put an item in my character inventory, check Discovery to see if it shows up, then remove it if it doesn and try the next item. VERY time consuming.

I found a weapon that has a 1/2 for runes. Says I need a White Citadel rune or something like that.

Are these going to randomly drop from mobs in the area, do I need to craft this, is there and area specific to this type of rune that I must travel to get the other piece of armor that has one of these in it?

I hear alot about dodging in this game. Is it being referred to when a Red Circle appears underneath you or are we saying you have to jump around the target during melee ?

If it is the 2nd I think it would be difficult given there is no 1st person point of view in the game. Maybe someone can speak to what one looks for in the actions of the mob that tells you you need to dodge?

If it is the 1st, then I think I understand dodging.
