I’d like to know the answer to this too, but I suspect the previous poster is correct. I’m only level 25 or so, but I’ve been keeping an eye on the market since I’ve been planning on starting up a profession, but so far I have not found anything that I could produce that would make me more money than just selling the ingredients separately.
Hammer is definitely my favorite weapon so far. Ignoring the practical reasons, it’s just really fun to whallop on things with a gigantic hammer.
While the Krait Witch is very hard, I found it to be one of my most fun battles in the game (Admittedly, I’m only level 17, so I haven’t been playing for all that long). There were ~10 people fighting her – I died no less than 5 times, and ran straight back in to the thick of it each time. Yes, it was very difficult, but that made beating her that much more satisfying.
Hi!
I just recently started playing, and am looking for a guild that accepts new low-level players. I played GW1 for a bit, but never really got in to it. Eve-Online was my MMO of choice, and I played that for several years. GW2 has been fun so far, but it’s so different from something like Eve, that I’m finding myself with very little idea of what to do.
In game, I’m on the Sanctum of Rall server, though I suppose I could move. I have a level 8 Sylvari Warrior, and am putting a couple hours in on most days. Out of game, I’m 30 years old, and in EST. I can’t join any guild that has mandatory voice comms. I live with my fiancee and am usually playing on my laptop in the living room. She would kill me if I was sitting in the living room with a headset on. Of course, for scheduled events and whatnot, I could go somewhere else, but I can’t be on mumble/TS/Vent all the time.
At the moment, being new, I wouldn’t really bring a lot to a guild, but I’m hoping that once I learn the ropes, I could be an asset to wherever I wind up. In Eve, I spent a while as an alliance diplomat, and capital ship pilot carrying everyone’s stuff all over New Eden, so I’m certainly happy to help out once I get to a point where I’m not so lost.
Thank you for your consideration!
Cool story, not in GW1, great artwork
Playing Sylvari Warrior.
