What I think, is that as the Pact drew closer to Mordremoth, the madness in the Sylvari Pact Soliders became greater and consumed them. What bothers me is that Trahearne, a firstborn, was able to shrug it off and fight with Destiny’s Edge. It could be his sword, or it could be that fact he came directly from the Pale Tree which made him resistant. Perhaps secondborns or other generations of Sylvari are more susceptible to Mordremoth (Scarlett or Ciera for example). I hypothesize the Pale Tree might have needed help resisting Mordremoth herself, and could have had help from Glint or other magics. Being around her could make other Sylvari resistant also, and in her current weakened state it could explain why it was so easy for him to take over the soldiers.

So many things though from the previous LS make sense from this revelation, and they really did do a good job. When Scarlett said she knew Caithe’s secret, she might be referring to this scene. Considering she is an agent of Mordremoth, and how the minions of dragons and dragons share a telepathic link with knowledge (like Zhaitan) this makes sense. This can also explain why the Inquest are drawn to use Sylvari to fuel their Golems, as dragons consume magic and Sylvari are reservoirs of dragon magic. It might also explain why Zhaitan was unable to turn them into minions, as perhaps no two dragons can lay claim to the same species. Either way, this was an intriguing and exciting way to conclude the LS.

Best PvE build for engineer and investment?

Get ready to get underappreciated and undermined often in dungeons a lot for PvE. A lot of people just don’t understand what the engineer is capable of or what they bring to the table. You can give up to 18 stacks of might with a triple turret build, However, it is a thankless job. I’ve been in runs where heavy classes like guardians for example put up a light field on top of my fire field so when i blast turrets i give retaliation instead, and I cannot say anything for fear of being booted. I have been in runs where the elementalist who wasn’t even dropping a fire field got credited for the might stacking I was doing. I have even been in runs with 4 warriors where I got booted for supposedly not might stacking because they believed they were empowering themselves through EA alone. The ignorance in dungeons is widespread and a major deterrent to playing an engineer. However, I will say it is one of the most fun open world classes to play and is absoultely great at tagging everything in huge zergs.

Make dungeon and WWW weapons account bound

Currently there is a disparity in the dungeon weapons. All dungeon weapons are soul bound on acquire except for one dungeon (TA). Why this is so I don’t know. The solution to this is to simply make all dungeon weapons as well as WWW exotic weapons account bound. There is no reason why they should be soul bound on acquire. There are people who like to toss exotic weapons in the mystic forge or transfer weapons to alts and they can’t even do so because they are using the incorrect profession. An engineer who bought exotic GS with badges of honor in WWW for example, cannot use them or give them to an alternate character let alone salvage them. This is incredibly frustrating. I’m currently sitting with soul bound exotic weapons in my bank and I cannot use them let alone salvage them. Anet needs to fix this. Please unsoul bind these exotic weapons and at least make them account bound.
