if by system manufacturer you mean the people who build it, then that’s easy to answer, I built it myself, the motherboard, the memory, the CPU, the case was bought last year, the graphic card I’ve had a few years

ok the whole lot

every time there’s an up date, GW2 refuses to work, so far I’ve had
a black screen, pointer & music
a black screen, pointer without music
the update screen (no activity, game just freezes)
following the advice on the black screen (nvidia) results in black screen with music for 10 seconds, followed by the music stopping and my monitor going into stand-by mode (no signal) and what sounds like a “pop”

I’ve tried UN-installing and re-install my graphic driver (version 310.70), no effect
I would UN-install the game, except the UN-install program has crashed (comes up with the “send error report” screen
I’ve deleted the contents of the GW2 folder and ran the install program, takes forever and has no effect.

TBH I’VE HAD MORE PROBLEMS WITH GAMES THEN ANY OTHER, I’M BEGINNING TO WONDER IS IT WORTH ALL THIS AGGRAVATION. so far the only solution i’ve found is to use the malwarebytes scan, even then i have to use a deep scan, which takes two hours and there no guarantee it’ll work. and when I get the game to work, you release another update and I’ve got to start all over again.

every time GW2 up dates I get a black screen, I get as far as the music that accompanies the character selection screen, but no characters, just a black screen. I have to exit the game and re-run the game (although, that doesn’t always work, sometimes I need to shut my computer down to fix it)

ram 4GB (only showing 3.25)
graphic nvidia geforce9400 GT (driver 6.14.13.1033 dated 19/10/12)

I’ve at the black screen (Nvidia) post and I’ve all ready done that (default setting)

just wait for Christmas it’ll be candy cane shards needed to make candy cane weapons and shields (candy Armour anyone?).
