Tempest Wolves is a guild founded in DAOC back in 2001. We are a competitive performance based guild currently playing on Sanctum of Rall. We are looking to create an asian and oceanic timezone force. We have 2 strong oceanic commanders and 1 strong asian commander and are looking to develop a force under them.

Currently, we are strictly a NA primetime guild and our recruitment standards are high. We have all prospects who are interested in joining TW, join our recruitment guild first(Tempest Wolves Legacy) and every month we promote up to 4 individuals from TWL to TW.

As we want to be able to put out a force on an expedited schedule we are going to train our oceanic and asian arm from the ground up, as such we are keeping the same recruitment standard in place but will be promoting up to 10 individuals from TWL to TW for the oceanic/asian time zone each the first month, 8 individuals from TWL to TW the second month, then 6 the 3rd, and finally by month 4 we hope to have the same standards as TW proper of up to 4 individuals per month for our Oceanic/Asian time zone.

We have very strict recruitment standards but that is because we want every individual who flies the TW tag to be able to hold their own in battle but also more importantly, once you join TW, we hope you are in the guild for life and as such we want to make sure you have the right positive attitude to continue playing with the guild into the future in other games. What was created in DAOC in 2001, went to WoW, WAR, AION, RIFT, SWTOR, with brief stints in APB, TSW, DCUO and GA. Throughout those times the core has remained the same and we have picked up new friends along the way.

I would also add that I think this also partly extends to JQ’s other coverage zones as well. I play NA and EU as well often and those timezones have groups that do the same stuff although not always with Foo’s zeal. Alot of these sorts of activities gain no wxp but it gets done anyway.

Right now these tactics are one of the major reasons JQ is winning. Sure we make full use of our stronger timezones and appear to have some better numbers at times as well but we defend and upgrade our stuff better than the other two servers and so hold onto to points for longer.

I am surprised to see you agree that other timezones on JQ essentially function as foo’s janitors.

I hate bringing this up… coverage is a part of the game and it is NOT going anywhere, but there are times where it hits BG and SoR hard… No matter how hard we push on any map, im sure this goes for BG too – we lose something elsewhere, and we cannot do a thing about it…

Sure, set up 10 AC’s and have 10 ppl park there, What is stopping the other team from Golem rushing with ~5 golems? We can’t even SPARE 10 ppl late at night, we have to consolidate. It is tough, it really is. That is when you remember that this is a game and you play it for fun. But no one has fun when what they feel is ‘hard work’ gets overdone when you start losing numbers, start getting sleepy, have to go to work – you name it. No server makes it above t2 with JUST coverage. If you say its just coverage, pass what you’re smoking over here please.

In my own honest opinion, even if BG and SoR were to actually HELP eachother during our offpeak and JQ prime, I do not think we have it in us to compete. In order to survive in T1 we have to fight eachother for points, we HAVE to get any easy point. But this is what is making us BOTH lose to JQ by such a large margin. Right now, I would say BG and SoR do not have it in them to win in T1, We don’t have the will or resilience where it matters. After finding out theres nothing you can do to keep up, it becomes less about playing for points – it is about killing your opponent wherever you can. I cannot stress enough, on how much our Oceanic and SEA forces try on SoR and im 100% positive it is the same on BG. I know that MERC was like that, pushing for that win on SoS, heck… just look at Jedahs post history, I have no doubt at all that MERC pulled overtime to give SoS the lead in t1, and they deserved it.

We all suffer from coverage pain, both BG and SoR have to persevere and play like we are both number 2. We’ve proved we can beat eachother. We’ve proved we are proud servers. I know it feels like no matter which borderland you are in, you will see a minimum of ~30 JQ running around, and thats not adding the amount of awesome ppl they have capping camps(17 camps for a point tick WTF) We have to push through this, and we have to recover.

We play this game for fun. So let us continue in having fun. Screw coverage. Screw the scoreboard. Screw those wall of red names. One wipe means nothing, Two wipes means nothing, Repairs mean nothing, you push, until you cap that kitten keep. And you push past it and cap the next. Go SoR. Go BG. We all have it in us to win, We all have it in us to succeed

Gotta love the EMP comments about impatience, “setting the field”, 2v1, etc

Numbers were even and they lost. Not sure I get all the drama surrounding this. You win and lose, it is what it is. If you win, act like you’ve been there before and intend to go back. If you lose, lose with grace, learn from your mistakes, say “GG”, and be done with it. Practice what you preach SoR, sportsmanship is a two way street. If CDS is as good a guild as they claim to be, they shouldn’t be estatic about one victory.

The drama is completely one-sided. No one is claiming this is the second coming of Christ or anything. It’s simply a video recording of a GvG match. It just happens that the opposing team decided to talk kitten and act like it wasn’t fair.

I doubt the video was posted to “rub it in”. You can’t fault CDS for responding to comments about having more people(or people making flatout incorrect statements about the actions of the commander tag).

Point is, they don’t even HAVE to respond to those comments…they videotaped it! Anyone with two eyes can see the fight was even. Anyone even remotely objective can see that CDS won the confrontation with EMP.

I dunno, Noodles seemed pretty indignant and huttburt in the chat. Quite disrespectful too.

But that’s the story of Noodles, in public he’s all about respect and in private tells and chats, he’s nothing but a big kitten.

The comments on the video itself are humorous. I mean I dig the trolling, but JQ just seems delusional the video speaks for itself.

In comparing T1 to world powers. JQ is like USA, BG is like China, and SoR is pretty much North Korea(the country no one cares about, yet wants to feel important, but their not.

I think New Zealand is a better country for JQ. Lots of sheep.

Thank you to all those guilds and individuals who sent me PMs and spoke with me in TS and in game. I hope our conversations were helpful in your decision making process.

Another one of the most incredible things of this server is its uniqueness, besides its history which can be read at www.sanctumofrall.com, is that to date, SoR is the ONLY server which has gained the most ranks to get to T1. The Sanctum started at #17 and is now #4, in position to get into T1.

Every other server which is in T1 or has been in T1 started at #10 or above. Not a single server has gone and steadily grown consistently from it’s start not from mass transfers but rather from careful planning and server unity. And not a single server has grown from such a low position.
