I love dual-daggering my way through the obstacles in the game. I love shroud-dancing. I love feeling strong and viable even when rolling a non-cookiecutter build.

And I love the exotic acolyte set with white/charcoal/lifesblood. .

It’s part of exotic acolyte set (if you search trading post for 70+ exotic armor, you should find it rather easily). It looks like blindfold on female characters.

I’ve been rolling a power/perception build for some time now. It’s not pure power, as I like using soul reaping tree and shroud-dancing around, and since this tree works nice with critical hits, I’ve put together something like this:

It may not be the most viable build around, but I’ve grown fond of it and can manage to contribute in PvP, WvWvW and in PvE (dungeons, for example). It may not be the easiest, considering you have to be in melee range for the most part, but it’s totally playable.

Basically, how I approached it, was choosing weapons I’d aesthetically like (staff/dual-daggers) and building around that. I also liked death shroud and wanted to utilize this fully. What has changed over time (at first I went 30 spite/30 curses/etc.), is that wells are pretty nice in melee range with daggers and also while wielding the staff (wells use ground targeting trait).

One more thing to mention before posting this: I have not done tournaments with this build and this is intentional. I want to get a solid group together first and the build might change accordingly.

Other than that, I am really pleased with the aesthetics of the weapons and weapon skills, I know what and when to utilize. Yes, I know I may be lacking some points, but that’s intentional. I’m just glad I found something that suits my playstyle.

Considering you get 3 seconds of stability every 10 seconds, it’s awfully good. I’ve been rolling with full soul reaping tree for a while now and just lately decided to change the grandmaster trait from 50% less cd for death shroud to this, and I have to say that if you learn how to use it properly, it’s a lifesaver.

One specific place I found it very useful in PvE context: Lieutenant in AC explorable. And that’s just one example. It is contextual, but if you have the trait and know when to use it, it’s really handy.

Try deleting some of the older mails.

I recall having a similar situation: had like 7/10 capacity and I knew friends had been sending me more mails. So I just deleted these 7 and voila, 4 new mails popped up.

Considering the long-lasting buffs are only for people who represent the guild, I don’t see an issue with banners being a way to promote the guild. Same for WvWvW related buffs (claim a location, buff everyone in there).

One thing to consider:
Since there is no cutscene for placing the second stone, it can be a bit difficult for finding the correct place. The door that opens is on higher floor. First time I did this mission, I grabbed the orb and rushed past the mobs who spawned and interacted with the point. And following the map indicator, I found a door on the same level I considered bugged (due to being in combat). Later, on second attempt, the door was still closed but before I decided to ragequit and call it a bug, I explored a bit more and found the correct doorway on the floor above. Completed this mission successfully.

I can see how missing orb (disappears from hand) can be an issue, but the door not opening could be due to not finding the correct place.

Same thing happened to me and the group I ran with last night. And what was strange from the start: only the person who created the dungeon seemed to have all of the cutscenes. We were even joking in the group about him (having the cutscene icon). We did have some cutscenes, but only a few, for example, getting on the helicopter

Despite being a little ticked off for not being able to complete my story, it was still a good and enjoyable run (especially considering everyone did it for the first time), but I can see potential problems in the future, having to run it 5 times for 1 party, so everyone could complete their story.
