Lt Kholer is a pushover once you see the animation and keep him crippled the whole fight, cripple, kite, dodge..
The second golem boss in SF though… the fire projetiles hitboxes are much bigger than the actual projectile and as a result is kitten hard to dodge, sideways is wrong, backwards is wrong, forward works occationally…
Me and some of my guildies where trying out this path today and at start it was alot of fun, adjusting tactics and improving our teamwork.
Found the First Seraph, got her medpack.
Went to the second Seraph, no issues with the boss, as usual.. bosses are easier than silver/gold mobs…
Then came the brickwall… Running the barrels to the door… First of, no hint that we needed to find and run barrels of gunpowder to a door.. And the perpetual and extremly fast spawn of Bandits in that area…
I mean, did anyone test this before? Have it been run in 45Mastercrafted gear?
And dont dare come and say that it’s tested with lv80 Exotic/Rare gear, if that is the case, DO NOT HAVE THE DUNGEON BEING RECOMMENDED FROM LV45
The amount of dmg that the bandits dish out was enough to warrant me and my guildies a repair cost of over 30s/ea, due to not giving any hint prior to us fighting our way towards the door and then have to scout the area while being under constant attack by the overly agressive bandits that spawnes in droves, not provinding any breathing room what so ever.. Running barrels and having them taken back by a group of 7+bandits constatly while being under attack is not something that neither me nor my guildies was finding to be a good mechanic nor was it fun, it was pure and utter griefing from the bandits part and hence a design fault due to their super fast respawn rate..
I’m sorry to say, but you guys at Anet are not grasping the function not the consept of dungeons.. You make bosses too easy and trash to hard. I know alot will disagree with me on this account.
As it stands now, your dungeons are not fun, they are not providing the enjoyment that you have sold this game to be. And revert back the repaircost while you are at it, 1s64c for 1 Piece is prettykittenhefty.
Look into the respawn timer on the bandits by the door and say that it’s at the proper timer and I’ll leave it at that and not set my foot into that part of the dungeon anymore.
I agree with you Colin, but some of the encounters are just silly.. take TA explorable, 3 Nightmare Knights synchro Earthshaker without any adren buildup and killing the first player they see, then the do the same jump again, on next player.. Are enemies not using the the same mechanics we are using? Cooldown and Adrenaline on Warrior based creature seems atleast in TA to be broken.. But both me and my friends are enjoying the dungeons and the difficulty they offer, and we adopt and adapt to them in a very nice way! Teambuilding is so nice! Thank you for the challanges!
Since when are dungeons timed? I find that very hard to understand.. but if that is the way ANET is starting to play… they can have their dungeons being not used, for that one took more time than it deseved thb.. and do hold of with the “being bad” part, 2members in our team have kids and sometimes they wake up and need comforting so keep your witty remarks to yourself next time, OK?
Yeah, I know that. But we did not get the finishing rewards, and not the fast way out either.. so only 15 tokens from that run, where the finish should give you 15+bosses.. or is TA different from all the other dungeons and not giving any finish reward?
Me and my team just finished a 3,5hr tour in TA explo, having a great time figuring stuff out for ourselves, getting to the Big Tree final boss, kill it and.. no reward…
I do not know if this has happened to anyone else, but it was just a major dissapointment doing something for that long only to get a major coinloss due to repaircost and not that many tokens..
