I am not sure where the trash talking started about VP, but I just want to say that we do not care what your guild name is, nor do we care who you are. Do not flatter yourself into thinking we care about your guild. We don’t. We only care about guilds in DR. We fight for DR, and if you get your feelings hurt along the way we do not care.

I am not sure what I can do to fix your obviously broken ego. Perhaps if there is enough time in the matchup, you may want to GvG to settle the score.

We did not trash talk in your shoutbox, just for the record. Your own server and guild did. We just happened to notice. Also for the record, the trash talk about VP started after VP made up lies and trash talked KoM. And like you, we don’t give a kitten who other guilds or VP is. We just don’t want you making up bullkitten about us. Maybe you should keep your guild mates in check before you kitten off someone else on the forums.

Coincidentally this match up is extremely boring since we either find 1 person to fight with our 10, or we find 40-60. Not really much to play with this week so more time to be a forum warrior.

I highly doubt that somebody in DR is going to call out another DR guild. So I am assuming the guy is attached somehow to you, your guild, or your server.

Yes, we did wipe a group that was on siege. Unsure what guild it was. If somebody called a guilds name in that group that we wiped on these forums, then shame on them.

Yes, we did use emotes and have fireworks. Not directed towards anybody. (if you get offended by stuff like this then I feel sorry for you) Remember this matchup is boring for all of us.

And Yes, sadly we got caught with our pants down and we lost Bay.

You guys did hit us hard, I’ll give you that. Maybe if you tried to kill us first, not the siege, you would have succeeded. For clarification, scurrying back to bay refers to 3-4 that got away and ran inside bay and the rest of you regrouping there after you died. Anyway lets not sit in the past, we can move on from this. In preparation we will have fraps running so future encounters of VP can be recorded and used when you come to the forums being a pretentious kitten again.

If you need help executing portals without dying you might want a server wide team speak. It is really helpful. That’s what we do and it usually works

I fail to see how this could be a response to what I said. KoM was not involved at all with that fight. And there is very little in that video that impressed me except the guardian’s ability to play zoomed in the entire time and at such a terrible camera angle. Oh and the music was nice.

When I mentioned Fraps, I meant we would have fraps running to prove that VP is full of poopy the next time KoM encountered them so you can’t run to the forums saying we fail and you wiped us when its not the truth. Btw Snow Ghost, you might want to check the shoutbox on your own website. Strange things are being said there…

VP fun time at prime time, NSP BL yesterday.

Ahh so VP was the keep Ninja’s last night! Had a blast taking it back. Think our siege placement once we past outer wall turned the tide there. You guys had Watergate siege placement perfect. Learned a good deal from that fight.

I was just saying last night how I’ve never seen a successful Watergate siege. Nice to know people are doing it! I always thought it would be a lot of fun to try.

Ive seen a few, Last night due to their AC placement we were never going to make it in via Watergate, Had to go in from the NW wall. They didn’t have enough siege on that side so we were able to take it back in 20-30 mins. I was glad to see they didn’t give up though. Made for a great fight.

Yeah, we knew that we were going to awake a sleeping giant if we were successful at taking Garri. We tried to hold you guys off for as long as we could but in the end we could only sqeeze two ticks out of it before most of us wiped. Was good times all around.

I must say I was thoroughly amused by the fights with [VP] in GoM BL during prime time yesterday.

10-15 or so bunkered up in Astral with 5-7 of us outside while one of your guys spammed /laugh, only to be wiped a few minutes later by the sentry point near the tower.

And then there was a more or less even numbered fight at lake tower where we only had 2 people go down, but not a single one died.

Not meant to be a flame, but I will say that whoever the [VP] guy was spamming /laugh makes it look bad. Especially when you had twice our numbers at the time (we didn’t fight there, we waited until we met at that sentry point, but still). Obviously it was just one person, but it reflects on everyone wearing the tag, you know?

I find it sad that somebody can take something so innocent such as saying that they had fun, and turn it around to flame on a guild. I also find it sad that people get offended by emotes. Most of VP has their emote indicators turned off in chat because we just do not care if people /emote. Do you know for sure it was a player from VP? It could of been somebody from another guild that was with our group.

I apologize that your feelings were so hurt over an emote. Sometimes people do /laugh in response to something said in TS. Heck, I do /laugh just because my asura looks cool when he laughs. So how can you tell if it was directed at you or your group? VP does stuff in good fun, we crave good fights and laughs. We do not think we are better than everyone else like some guilds. Which is the reason you will not see the majority of us making up glory stories of how we beat greater numbers. We respect our competition and look forward to fun battles in the future.

100% agreed with the creator of this thread. Devs either do not like the engineer, or they just do not understand the class. If you are a pistol/condi Engi like me, you should be furious. The pistol is weak now.

The nerf to confusion really makes the static shot useless. Also the explosive shot is slightly weaker if you trait the Incendiary Powder trait.

I understand most of the nerfs to elixir S. Except for not having the ability to heal which is overkill.

As of now, I do not know what the point of having an Engi in WvW is. Since there are so many more viable classes.

Why can’t I just slot another kit or ability instead of being forced to hold on to the Toy riffle or Nerf Pistol?

And now it’s an instant cast making it less clunky, no longer has Quickening Zephyr, breaks stuns, and now always gives a projectile block combo field when thrown.

Elixir U got a lot of help with this patch. I may start using it with my PPHGH build in sPvP.

Do not get me wrong I am trying to look at this objectively since I am saying this prematurely from work. Stun break is not a big deal when you have other elixirs dedicated to stun breaks. How many elixir stun breaks does one need? Elixir U was the main component in one of my DPS strings. So, I will get less dps with my p/s/elixer/condi build. Quickening Zephyr is not that big of a deal when you are ranged. Now, if it was frenzy and Quickening Zephyr that they got rid of, I would look at the change as a buff.

I don’t consider the haste nerf a nerf to engineer at all seeing as elixir U barely increased engineer dps at all seeing as engineer dps builds are either going to be spike damage or condition. Have fun killing anything with quickness flamethrower, quickness grenade 1 spam or quickness rifle 1.

You mean the nerf to “quickness?” I do not think it is an Engineer specific nerf, it just nerfs how I applied my conditions previously with my pistol. When coupled with elixir b, elixir u did greatly increase dps for my condition build that use pistol/pistol or pistol/shield.
