The only way I’m doing that dmg to you is if you let me go into stealth. That’s right I need to be close to you and hit you to go into stealth to kill you. If I miss that attack I’m in trouble.

Keep an eye out for the stealth hit inbound and dont let it happen and I’m out of luck.

It is simply unbelievable how a trait on 90 second CD can ruin your day so many times. It’s really hard to fathom how it works so well AGAINST you and seems to time so perfectly.

I’d like to see this changed/removed. Possibly to something that enables you to use a blind but isnt automatic.

If thats too much then switch it please to a selectable trait and replace the 5 point shadow arts with something else.

The CC/knockdown stun whatever you want to call it in this game are over the top.

If you want to keep them in the game then at least implement a diminishing return on subsequent effects.

Tonight I got pulled by an engineer who was on the ground, who proceeded to blow me up… when i landed I was pushed back by a mesmer into the gate point where a necro feared me… All in about 5-7 seconds.

Sure thats an extreme case but come on… even the game couldnt decide which angle to render the screen from.

As for the previous poster saying not being able to fix it… you guys have to keep in mind we’re playing a pve game with pvp as an after thought. Those abilities were not thought of with the ramifications of competitive gameplay but pve crap.

So what game is out that was made for PVP with PVE as an after thought?

Just happened again… less than 30 minutes… 480 points in the match no glory earned.

Just started playing and twice on two maps… gonna make an effort to post every time. But then with that commitment id lose even more of my free time doing something other than playing.

I play alot but find it interesting to ponder the loss of glory as well as time.

There already are enough imbalances with the small characters and being difficult to discern their intentions by their animations…

I always thought they were just rage quitting.

Its probably just sheer odds that thieves are doing the owning and people get emotionaly attached to it. ha.

I like tapsteve’s comments… but i have to remind everyoen they already got your money so they dont need your loyalty. Nor do they need to staff competence apparently because this is so dramatic and they say themselves effects the whole game.

Nice to see you trivialising things, like it’s not a major issue.. eh just a little annoyance that happens .. oh I dunno.. maybe once every map. Not that big a deal :P
Internal testing? I’d be doing some internal staff resourcing if it takes almost two weeks to fix such an infuriating bug.. but that’s just how I run my business and strangely I have a loyal client base.

Just take Jackals advice and reload your system every time you play a match – seems like a reasonable work around!

Scorpion wire is best for interrupting the heal. To me thats the real intention of slotting this skill if you dont have another interrupt at hand.

Cant afford to hire enough talent to fix the loading bug you cant make pvp right.

Just happened twice more in the last 20 minutes. It almost seems like if you rush to respawn it is exacerbated.

Happened again. Get it together A net. Fix this already.

I encourage everyone to post every time it happens. If they dont already understand the scope of this then maybe they will.

This is the sort of bug that would stop a game from going live… yet it takes weeks to fix and this is the second round.

Take some packet captures already and profile what the application is doing… something is happening with game session state and its getting confused when returning to spawn.

This is a pretty serious thing to let fly like this… wow.

Fair enough… Now if i could convince my job to allow me to execute changes that effect customers during the same ‘after hours’ period.

They dont always come this late… but point taken.

Can we keep the new build /updates to after hours? Many times they come with issues that prevent SPVP during the time I have to actually play the game.

Salvo brings up a valid point. Granted I play thief but if they are going to do this then under the same logic they should nerf any immunity skills as well.

Does that already happen?
